Taiwan says aid to Israeli settlement still under discussion

From @tempogain post in part 1:

>One thing is clear: The concept of indirectly strengthening Hamas — while tolerating sporadic attacks and minor military operations every few years — went up in smoke Saturday.

So no one should be surprised by the lack of support for Hamas in any fashion now, right?

Fool me once and all that.

On that note:

Of course not, but the idea of support for Hamas in the past is surprising.

I think we covered this way back in the beginning of this thread. Israel tried to play both sides and it got out of control, and they didn’t change course as that would mean admitting fault. Or some shit.

That’s still a passive sentence.

“Easy” way to solve this “who has ancestral rights to the land” issue:

Have everyone in the region take a DNA test to see who has DNA more in line with the ancient Levantine people who have inhabited that land for thousands of years.

Oh wait, that might be too revealing…

50% or more, you’re in. Less? Well you can live in the West Bank or Gaza as a second class citizen (at most).

There’s a reason Israel doesn’t allow consumer DNA testing.

The issue is China potentially using genetic weapons to target and wipe out entire ethnicities. Truly scary stuff.

Around 2017, the Energy Department’s national laboratories started having significant concerns about biosecurity with regard to China.

A Chinese general who was head of the National Defense University in Beijing publicly declared an interest in using gene sequencing and editing to develop pathogenic bioweapons that would target specific ethnic groups, which may be the most evil idea I have ever encountered. Taking note, the Commerce Department ordered export restrictions of potentially dangerous biotechnology to China.

LOL this is not the reason. What a joke. It takes like 1 minute of an internet search to realize the Israeli government’s strict regulations concerning DNA testing far predates 2017. :joy:

Once again, you are trying to make China the boogeyman here when there is no warrant. Absolutely ludicrous.

Try the year 2000.

Yawn. Yeah, we know, have known since at least 2000.

2021 was a good year for peace in Gaza.

It’s also interesting that an article claiming Palestinians say no to peace in 2025 uses a photo from 2021 of Palestinians celebrating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The photo of Palestinians marching in Gaza chanting anti-Hamas slogans is from May 2025.
