This time it seems that the evidence is here, will it be another OJ or is he going down ( no pun intended! ), admittedly some of the witnesses including the kid’s mother seem a bit crazy or are they being painted that way!??!

i reckon he’s been upto it for years and is as guilty as they come.

It’s hard to say. The mother has already gotten $100,000 from another lawsuit so she’s definitely not shy about litigation, but I mean the guy has already gone to court a number of times over the exact same thing (which makes one wonder about the woman’s motivation to leave her sons in his company, knowing his history).

I’d rule they were both messed up individuals and neither one of them has any business being around children (MJ and the mother), including their own.

He definitely sounds guilty from what’s been said in the media, but I agree about the boy’s mom being nuts, or maybe it was some other boy’s mom, I don’t know, but some lady said he begged to sleep with her boy and she thought it was weird but she let them sleep together 30 more times (at her house), even after Jacko allegedly barricaded the room shut so the parents couldn’t get in the room. I don’t know who’s more crazy, him or her. :loco:

But will he get another OJ miracle verdict? Hard to say. I haven’t heard anything about the defense yet, just various witnesses for the prosecution describing him begging to sleep with their boys, drinking wine out of coke cans and watching porn together. That’s only half the case. It depends on how they refute those allegations and the battle of credibility.

Have to agree here. If MJ has this problem (IF) he MUST know it’s a bad thing…he had the money to see someone and get help. No excuse. I don’t like ganging up on the guy, because unless there is a video of him caught in the act, who really knows? But it seems that several first hand witnesses have seen him groping and fondling boys…over a period of years

Reasonable doubt. This ain’t OJ IMHO.

Actually last night, the teachers here had a short discussion about this and one thought MJ would kill himself before he went to jail. But who knows? Maybe he wants to punished on some level??

Either way, the guy needs counselling. :frowning:

I wasn’t convinced OJ was guilty by the evidence that was given. I think the decision to aquit in his case was sound. And afterwards, well, he hasn’t had more wives to kill.

With MJ, however, I think it very likely he’s guilty simply because of the number of times he’s been accused. It’s also possible that parents are intentionally put their kids in danger and hoping he’ll get a little too friendly and they can get a pay-off. Perhaps there’s a conspiracy with former employees expecting book deals or graft after the fact.

But we’ll have to look at this one case and see if the prosecution can make its case. Maybe MJ is clean and he’s just getting picked on. Right now I’m convinced he did it, but I’m not on the jury and don’t have to be impartial. Were I responsible for deciding I would be much more reserved in judgement.

I agrre with all of you here, but also think that all these sudden witnesses, (cleaning lady, gardener etc…) coming out now and testifying against MJ are as gulty. They witnessed something weird going on and noone alerted anybody, now it’s all in the open and all of a sudden we’ve got so many witnesses who “saw” and never said a word. What’s up with these people?

I don’t wanna open up THAT can of worms…but I was overwhelmingly convinced OJ did it.

OJ, MJ guilty but lucky!

jd that’s a huge can of worms, do you have an opener big enough?

before i get accused of going of topic on my own thread…oj is a guilty as a guilty person from guilty land on a very guilty day!

i also can’t see MJ doing time, it’ll totally knock him off his already fragile rocker…

lol…OJ is :flog:

well, MJ could conceivably skip the country. It would be interesting for certain. But which countries have no extradition law with the US?

God forbid Thailand!

I wonder if he will sing “Give me one more chance” during sentencing :boo-hoo:

Apparently you missed the news. Marlon Brando gave an island that he owned to Jacko so that he could hide out there. Seriously. When MB’s son was in trouble he hid out on the island and when his daughter was in trouble she did the same. Apparently one cannot be subject to US legal process on this island.

I didn’t believe that MJ was ‘wrong’ but if the same tune keeps playing then its a song…
I don’t think MJ will kill himself if he is convicted, in fact in a Vanity Fair article I read last year on him, paints a WHOLE different picture of this peter pan-nutto. He’s a major control freak who can manipulate people very well and can be downright nasty.

I’ve started watching the case since that guy who is a pastor testified against him. That man seem pretty creditable. Since then it’s been a shame to see and hear what’s going on. If MJ did do it, I wanna know who did it to him…

It was reported the other day that Michael Jackson wants to be one of the first civilians to travel into space. A spokesperson for NASA said, “We’re fine with the idea but the only problem is Jackson insists on coming back”

I couldn’t agree more. How could you see child molestation in action and not alert the authorities!!!???!!!

The boy testified that Michael Jackson was walking around naked and aroused. Boy, all of a sudden Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl thing doesn’t seem so bad, huh?

I think MJ is guilty; he shows a consistent, long-term pattern of inappropriate behavior towards these kids, and many of these behaviors are consistent with the behavior patterns of molestors.

His bail was set at $3 million dollars because he is considered a flight risk. Cause, you know, he could run off anywhere and blend right in.

While I was doing my PhD in Psych (ABD), I taught a unit on Human Sexuality at OSU, and as part of that, lectured on non-mainstream predilections and behaviors of all kinds, so I did some reading on pedophilia, among other things, and my comment above about the pattern is based on that reading. I would also note that a common characteristic of molestors is poor ability in forming mature relationships with other adults, which may also be the case with Jacko.

According to police reports, Michael Jackson gave underage kids red wine hidden in cans of Diet Coke. Now that’s just wrong, isn’t it? I mean, the guy signed a deal with Pepsi. He shouldn’t be crossing over like that.

Finally, I would like to point out that regardless of whether MJ is guilty or not: 1) his behavior is clearly inappropriate, and 2) the boys involved are victims either way, i.e., either of molestation, or of gross manipulation by immoral, money-grubbing parents who put them up to falsely accusing MJ.

That said, what better time and place for this:

So, he gets the kids over and he gives them vodka and porn. You know, you get rid of the child molestation thing and this guy’s the really cool uncle I always wanted.
