Jeffrey Epstein, sex trafficking, and the rabbit hole gets bigger

I was watching Dave Smith earlier, he made a good point. Until these emails I didn’t realize Epstein was still so influential/involved in politics basically until he was arrested again in 2018 or 2019.

Yeah, and not just the left, a lot of people aren’t just going to let this go at this point. Well see what kind of transparency we’ll get

Just happened. But maybe you don’t get that the DoJ controls what is actually released. Do you? Will you personally ever be satisfied that this will be over? I don’t have that kind of belief in the system. The money crimes will not be dragged into the open. No way.

Furthermore, I’ve seen sex crime cases up close and getting one to a courtroom is a nightmare, not getting it thrown out a miracle, and getting a win not held up for years by appeal nearly impossible. Justice would be doling out settlements from JE’s confiscated cash to the victims-- all of them, regardless of whether they came forward or moved on.

Funny, right? It’s like those in the know don’t care what he did before as long as they get the Benjamins.

I suspect you’ll get to see what I have seen. An impossibly complicated judicial system.

No, it did not - in earnest - “just happen” more than likely. A highly redacted/curated/scrubbed version of the files is not a promise fulfilled; it will be yet another insult levied against the American people (including you and I), and another slap in the face to the victims of these monsters.

Exactly why what you first said is a lie. Pam Bondi is the head of Trump’s unprecedentedly politically captured DOJ. I wonder why South Park portrays her like this:

The what Did Trump just sign?

I have been saying all along we’ll never get the files. WTH? Can you read? And I’ll add, it won’t matter if Trump isPOTUS or Biden, or Obama. They all had their shot and chose to swallow.

More projection. As already spoon-fed to you before, Trump signed this:

I don’t know about you, but where I am from, fulfilling a promise does not include an asterisk and “terms and conditions” in small print below that suggests otherwise.

Since I can read (many American people happen to be literate), I am insulted by this disingenuous “promise fulfilled” statement.

Are you expecting the next Democratic president to do any better? I think we’ll both be disappointed in that regard. This will go the way of the JFK files in 50 or 70 years when all the info will finally be released and everyone involved has long been deceased.

They had 12 years of dem POTI. Fat lot of good that did.

But the NEXT one will get it right! The next one won’t be corrupted!

Amazing how far people go to dance around the idea that the political group they voted for not only lied to the American people, but is now gaslighting them to think they are the evil ones to call them out on it.

Oh well, kings will be kings, right? :joy:

We just need to all suffer what we must. :man_bowing:

An additional sad note: I am afraid we are going to witness some real trauma-bonding between Trump machine and the ones somehow derpy enough to still be supporting it after all of this betrayal. Such a legacy to leave behind. Perhaps the cuck chair will be a family heirloom?

With the level of cynicism I am seeing above, it seems truly a miracle that the US made it as far as it did. Wow.

Who here is dancing around this idea that politicians lie to us? Americans have been cynically voting for the “least worst of the choices available" for quite a few decades by now.

Seeing as we are all - allegedly - on the same side of this issue perhaps it would be prudent for you to acknowledge that and refrain from broad brush insults and provocations, yeah?

Yeah I don’t think we are though, as evidenced in part by me disagreeing that “a promise has been fulfilled” in regard to actually releasing the Epstein Files. It will take a bit of reading, but I trust you have the skillset required to identify what I am referring to in the posts above.

My standards aren’t that high, they just aren’t underwater. So…

It says a lot about how degenerate government in America is these days when it can’t muster the will to prosecute the wealthy and powerful men who participated in the largest pedophile ring in its history.

I think Biden’s open border kiddie free for all may have topped Epstein. Just sayin’

Guess those kiddos are beneath your perspective huh. I hope the lives of poor kids means the same to you as the lives Epstein’s groomed teens.

Shame.if not. Shame.

Approximately 448,000–526,000 unaccompanied children were encountered at the border and released to sponsors (often family or vetted adults) during 2021–2025, a surge from prior administrations due to record encounters (~130,000+ annually). Vetting lapses, such as skipped home studies (~79,000 cases) and unvetted non-relatives (~11,000–11,488 cases), exacerbated risks.
• Trump Administration Response: Since February 2025, interagency efforts (DHS, HHS, ICE) have located ~25,000 of these children through welfare checks and data analysis, with ~4,000 trafficking leads generated. Operations have led to ~3,000 sponsor arrests tied to smuggling.

Law enforcement in the U.S. has always been very capable of bringing regular people to justice. That’s why it has the largest prison population in the world.

Where it struggles is bringing rich and powerful men to justice. That’s why, after twenty years of investigation, the only person it found worthy of putting in prison over the biggest pedophile ring in its history is a regular person like Ghislaine Maxwell.

You do realise she was never a regular person?

That did make me laugh.

Ah Maxwell, “A small loan of a million dollars” type of pleb!

Not like she was even scapegoated that gard either. Pretty sure she can even watch Netflix at that posh “prison” she is in currently. Truly outrageous honestly.

There are levels to the game. The problems seem to come to a head when the children of the children of the higher levels forget to keep the differences secret .

Then what? Pushback. Political shift. Riots maybe. Crackdowns. Revolution rarely. IDK where this one is going but my gut says it’s dead out of the gate. It’s a teeter totter game between nihilism and absurdism. Those who don’t care seem to out number those who do, and again, IDK which side is ahead. We shall see.
