The problem with the Russia/Trump people propaganda narrative is, even if it were true (it’s not), it’s too complicated for average joe to understand or care about.
But they do understand “Rudy G. working with known Russian agent”.
Which is what this story has been turned around into, in the mainstream where it matters politically. Creating awareness of more collusion by Trump, via Rudy. G, with Russia. They were warned Rudy was dealing with a Russian op and Trump still greenlighted him.
The political equivalent of setting a bear trap then catching yourself in it.
