I actually agree with this. He doesn’t seem to have any longstanding beliefs or political principles…he just wants the deal. I feel like they could get great deals from him if they just engaged honestly and let him save enough face on campaign promises.

I was talking with a friend who is an attorney and he brought that up as well.

Yes, I believe so. Of course, it’s political so, technically, it doesn’t need to be connected to a crime.

‘Censorship’ would have been in line with this sort of thing.

But all the politicians who’ve been outed wearing blackface have been GOP.

You know one good thing that Trump has done for Democrats is really lowered the bar.

In the past, Warren’s native American gaffe might have ended her campaign, but nothing really compares to what Trump has done. You guys voted for a guy who bragged about sexual assault on camera and multiple women corroborated it. Not to mention paying off pornstars and all the rest. It’s a bit of the pot and kettle.

Doesn’t matter how you try to smear it just ain’t gonna stick. All he has to do is quote one of Trump’s numerous gaffes.

If the democrats behaved reasonably I think you would get reasonable co-operation from Trump. As it is the Democrats seem surprised that Trump doesn’t want to help them hang him.

That was the fear of many conservatives before the election. Trump was a populist who probably would have worked across the aisle with no problem. I believe if they had played things straight up, he would have expanded ObamaCare at the very least.
