Let's talk about Trump

No doubt, some of us just see a kid, one who has her own issues dealing with Asperger’s syndrome and current year academics scaring the hell out of children.

Then people calling her names on Twitter, it’s just mean. She’s not a threat to anyone, she doesn’t even advance the discussion on global warming, it’s a cynical appeal to emotion by people using her.

I hope she manages to monetize it and get rich along the way. Other than that, I will be ignoring her, I hope on her world trip she manages to stop by India, Africa and China and gets to see how little girls in other parts of the world are brought up. Might give her some perspective on all this.

There’s nothing funny about murder, young man.

bwahaha:

“Stop for a minute,” Cillizza intoned. “Almost 4 in 10 Republicans told a pollster that Donald Trump is a better president than George Washington. The same George Washington who led the country’s armed forces to victory over the British, helped found our country and then walked away from office after two terms even though he could have kept getting elected for as long as he wanted.”

ahem…

The same Monmouth poll found Democrats far more likely than Republicans to say that their party’s most recent president was superior to the Father of the Nation. More than 60 percent of Democrats say Barack Obama was a better president than Washington, while only 29 percent say Washington was the better president.

I can’t stand Cillizza myself.

Cuomo though, laying Trump and the GOP bare in very effective manner:

Hey look @Mick! It’s your favorite folks that paid for the pee pee dossier. Or did you conveniently forget about that?

Too funny. This is why I always laugh when someone I don’t know says something to affirm their view like, “I know many people who support/have benefited from Pres. Von Clownstick” etc etc. Pathological radar always humming I guess…

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/12/13/trump-told-same-story-about-jewish-friend-four-times-three-months-each-time-name-friend-changed/

“I said, ‘Charlie, let me ask you, what’s bigger for the Jewish people: giving the embassy to Jerusalem, it becomes the capital of Israel. What’s bigger? That or the Golan Heights?’ He said, ‘Neither.’ I said, ‘What does that mean?’ He said, ‘The biggest thing of all is what you did by ending the Iran nuclear catastrophe,’ ” Trump said to applause from the audience. “I think that’s true.”

It was remarkably similar to a story Trump told at the first White House Hanukkah reception just four hours prior, this time recalling a conversation he said he had with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

“I said, ‘Bob Kraft, which is bigger? Which is more important to the Jewish people?’ He said, ‘Neither.’ I said, ‘What does that mean?’ He said, ‘What you did by terminating the Iran nuclear deal is bigger than both.’ I think that’s true.”

Four days before the Hanukkah receptions, Trump spoke about a conversation with Republican financier and casino magnate Sheldon Adelson. “I said to Sheldon, ‘What do you think was bigger? … Israel and the embassy going in, and it became Jerusalem, the capital of Israel? Or the Golan Heights?’ He said, ‘Neither.’ ”

And in September, Trump referred to having a similar conversation with “people.”

Trump often relies on the same stories and phrases while speaking to reporters and at rallies (including repeating false or misleading claims hundreds of times). For example, Trump has spoken about his friend Jim, who purportedly used to visit Paris every year but no longer does because “Paris is no longer Paris.” Several outlets have tried to determine who exactly Jim is and whether he is real.

:joy:

Pee pee dossier is all on Clinton. Yes Fusion GPS were hired by a right wing think tank, but the Russia bullshit was the brainchild of the Clintons and Democrats.

Figured out why yet?

Does it have something to do with a Republican (Lindsey Graham) thinking the dossier was such a sham that he urged another Republican (John McCain) to hand it off to the FBI?

McCain hated Trump, I don’t think that’s a secret, miss Lindsey was connected at the hip to McCain. It’s why Trump supporters to this day have zero faith in miss Lindsey and expect her to stab Trump in the back at the first opportunity.

But no, not even close.I’m dying to tell, the punchline in this is hilarious.

Some have been working this week and not playing the meme police:

Added to the list of accomplishments this week:

  • An agreement on a new U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade deal.
  • A new budget including more than $1.3 billion for a border wall and blocks a government shutdown.
  • House approval of the U.S. Space Force, a brand-new branch of the military.
  • Government family leave that will be a model for a proposal for the public.
  • Tentative agreement on trade with China.
  • Approval of Trump’s 50th federal appeals judge.
  • Confirmation of a new Food and Drug Administration chief.
  • The signing of a pro-Israel anti-Semitism executive order.

oh and

Wall Street hit another record,

and if that’s not enough:

Pelosi conceded that on impeachment, “It’s been going on 22 months — two and a half years, actually.”

Of course, because there’s an amoral moron in charge, so it is a) a joke and b) a threat to everyone.

Seems to me since Reagan the US has been the laughing stock of the world. Doesn’t change the fact that it is the world’s economic, military and political hyperpower. And, despite China’s invasion…we also got Hollywood.

Not even close. Even with Bush you could have some pride and say fuck 'em.

I had a lot bigger issues with Bush than I do Trump. What do you look for in a President? Someone who looks and sounds all Presidential, while not concerning yourself with what’s happening under their watch? Is that a good President for you?

Shaping the narrative ahead of impeachment, Ukraine narrative dropped for he’s a bully, intimidates and harasses people on Twitter. Predictable. Brace yourself for the incoming media onslaught.

All the facts are still in play. Some people can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Some people thought Bush’s two wars should have been impeachable, one of of them on false claims of WMD, a million or so dead with the invasion of Iraq and the the introduction of enhanced interrogation techniques (torture, not allowed by UN rules) and the most intrusive surveillance system the planet has ever seen. Somehow didn’t seem to meet the bar for a Democrat held house to impeach.

Obama armed the “rebels” gave us Syria, Libya, and a bunch of others, 100’s of thousand dead, millions fled. But not serious enough apparently to impeach by a Republican majority House.

That threshold was finally crossed when Trump inquired about Joe Bidens alleged corrupt actions in Ukraine and sent a climate activist a mean tweet.

Come on! It’s like watching the exorcist scene where the girl is tied down and spewing vomit and cursing and half the movie theater is on the side of the possessed demon, probably the first time in 50 years anyone has got close enough to deliver an enema to the corrupt Washington elite and half the people are begging “don’t do it”.

Amazing!
