Hahaha. Human consumption grade corn. Thats a f*cking good one!

Not because of the produce but because of how hygienic the process and the packaging are. Obviously :stuck_out_tongue:

In a package for farming there might be traces of all sort of shit.

The corns for popcorn is a specific breed of corn. You canā€™t just use any random corn grains for this.

10k a month? seems doableā€¦

It must be the Jumping genes.

Care to share some of these placesā€™ addresses Don? Any in Yonghe?

Lunchboxes, do they fill you up? Would a fella with a hearty appetite have to buy two or more? Thank you.

When you say bottomless do you mean the rice and soup in said establishments (would carnivore ones be as cheap though?) is unlimited (all you can eat)?

If so thatā€™s pretty sweet. Folks in general have to watch their caloric intake anyway for optimum health.

Go live in a taofang in some place like outskirts of Taichung or kaoshuing, easily get a place for 4k a month

Skipping breakfast is never a good idea IMO. Breakfast or lunch should be the heaviest meal of the day, dinner should be the lightest.

Anything else is nutritionally unsound.

All you can eat, yes. You just pay for the veggies by weight then add 20/30 for rice/soup.

You can save so much money (and burn calories too!) by youbiking/getting a cheap bike/walking everywhere.

Traditional market is a great place to get cheap food. Also oatmeal is really really cheap at px/amart if you donā€™t want to go for rice. Throw in some soy milk and chop up a banana into it if you want to treat yourself.

Soup? Water wit a bone thrown in and some seaweed.

You can always buy a whole rotisserie chicken and just get veggies and rice.

The problem with most biandangs is they are prepared several hours in advance. I went to a place where you dish up 4 sides. I got 4 of the same sides because the veggies were steaming hot.
People frequently miss work because of stomach issues and I guess room temp food prepared in unsanitary conditions is a major cause.

Best biandangs should be a thread.

Taiwanese eat lukewarm food but drink hot water.

Not sure about Yonghe, but there is a chain called ā€œmei meiā€ but not the breakfast store around Taipei thatā€™s 55~75nt. Some branches are really good, amazing crunchy fish with chilies condiment, but other branches kinda suck.

Breakfast?

Why not? No rule that says you have to have a bowl of sugar for breakfast.
