Mandarin classes for foreign spouses & scholarships?

So I’ve heard/read that there are/used to be Chinese classes for foreign spouses of Taiwanese nationals?
I couldn’t find very detailed information, unfortunately.
Are there any scholarships obtainable in Taiwan (not home country/embassy) for learning Mandarin?
Do the free evening classes still exist and are they suitable for beginners?

Best evening classes for someone who works

Hi I was not able to find updated information about evening classes. I need evening classes as I work during the day. Location is Taipei and I work in Xinyi / Daan area. I have not had any experience with paid Chinese classes here but did some night classes in my home country (native English speaking country) a few years ago. Do the teachers here have some English ability to explain things or answer any questions? I tried a free class here once but they were teaching Chinese using only Chi…

Chinese Class

I’ll be moving to Xindian, New Taipei this end of July. Any school offered free Chinese class accredited by Taiwan government. Please let me know. Thank you!

If you live in Xindian/Jinmei area, Tafung School has started enrollment for foreign spouse Chinese courses, and in Jinmei School -next to the bridge- there is enrollment for adult education night courses.

That you need to ask in person. The sign says «enrollment» as in sign in.
