Authenticating Marriage Certificate and Translation

As mentioned in another thread, I’m in the process of mailing my Bahamian marriage certificate to TECO in Miami for authentication. They have told me the translated Chinese version needs to be notarized by a Florida notary. Since I’m mailing this in from Hong Kong, this imposes yet another significant burden.
