Men's fashion in Taiwan

The men’s fashion here is unbelievable. It seems like the hottest girls I see every day are always with guys wearing shirts and pants five sizes too big, with a bowl haircut.

I do see some girls wearing really baggy clothes, and no skin exposed (for sun protection maybe) but a lot of girls here dress nice. Sexy even - with tight half shirts being common.

Why are these hot-ass women with men who dress like this? These dudes look so basic. Do girls here seriously like that look?

Are you jealous because those ladies don’t choice you?

lol, anyone who sees a hot girl with another dude is gonna wish she was with him instead, but that doesn’t negate the point. Dudes here dress ridiculous. Not all of them, but a lot of them

Baggy is in again. Well, fashion houses are pushing it as a change to skinny pants to sell more.

Drop by any chain store or high-end store, baggy shirts, baggy pants, this summer, started being pushed to the front of the store.

I’ve worked hard to keep my body fit to wear tight clothes.

Girls can look good in baggy if they do it right. Or else, just looks baggy, like auntie at the market.

Guys, just look like posers if wearing clothes extra baggy.

Besides, Taiwan style is always separate from the rest of the world. A bit off from everyone else.

Fashion goes in cycles so I’ve been expecting baggy to come back in the US like it was in the late 90s. I don’t recall if it looked as ridiculous back then…

I’m a 90s kid and still wear the baggiest clothes I can get away with, so I say it is about time!

Get ready to start wearing this bullshit again. It’s in shops now. Big damn circle.

I’m just going to be me.

At least the young ladies and gentlemen have stopped wearing glasses without glass, if you know what I’m talking about. Ridiculous :grandpa:

My fashion choice consists of “what scabby six year old item of clothing is passable in smell”

About time for my annual bath

Where are you? Which city? Which district?

Currently staying in Ximen, but I’ve seen it all over. I do feel like maybe it’s a younger crowd that does it, and you see more of that in Ximen

I mean people just care less about looks here. It’s a fact. Just look at all the flip flops and sandals around.

Also the girls are usually going for cute instead of sexy.

I think women’s fashion in Taiwan is mostly fine. Sure there are women who dress abhorrently (mostly older) but the majority are decent with their style. And they are not super dull like in certain European countries where EVERYONE buys their clothes at H&M, Zara, or Primark (i.e. the Netherlands) or strictly wear depressing dark colours like in Paris.

Men’s fashion on the other hand is awful. They are either terribly misguided by the HIDEOUS Japanese/Korean flowerboy style or they just wear pajamas. Those who look after their clothes but dress comfortably look the best. Simplicity goes a long way for both sexes, especially boys.

Depends on which other country is the subject of comparison. Americans and Australians dress quite hideously too. Especially men.

Am I really seeing a bunch of guys complaining about how we get to dress like slobs while the women are sexy as hell? If a woman wanted to complain about this I’d say they have a damned fair point, but it works out really well for us, no?

Haha well I think I dress well, so call me jealous or whatever but it’s weird to see those hot girls with guys who look like goofy 90s wankstas

nothing turns me on like superfluous fabric

It’s crazy when you go on a dating app and you see one of the girls that looks so plain and boring because of how she’s dressed and does her hair, then she throws in a pic of her at the beach and it’s like dayamn, who knew
