If people are describing him as a martyr then there’s a fair chance that some copycat idiots will pull the same stunt.
It’s the bizarre thought process that gets me. People fired arrows at him, so he went back the next day. Did he expect them to stop firing arrows?

The Indian government made visiting the island illegal for valid reasons, not the least of which is the safety of the Sentinelese as well as outsiders. This misguided “missionary” chose to ignore the warnings. He’s not a martyr in my book.

It’s sad in this day and age to see such blatant xenophobia and down right racism. It’s 2018! My great great grandfather was a leather daddy in the 1890s and immigrated to Canada for a life free from prejudice because of his lifestyle and multiculturalism is great!

Two Indian fishingpeople got axed to death from the tribespeople back in 2006. The coastguard helicoptered in to retrieve the bodies but the tribespeople shot arrows at the helicopter and they were forced to leave the bodies there.
EDIT: replaced tribesmen with tribespeople. It’s 2018 and I should know better, I apologize.
