Murder in front of ATT4FUN
Apparently a group fight broke out in front of Myst last night, possibly between gangs. End result: a dead cop with a knife jammed in his mouth. Surreal photos of hotties in skimpy dresses justaxposed to the slaughtered guy follow.

The Bamboo Gang again.appledaily.com.tw/appledaily … 5/36086010

和堂台裔美籍主嫌曾威豪(二十八歲)及其女友劉芯彤(二十二歲)

Suspectm male, 28 is of US citizenship.
(Disclaimer: Suspects arrested. Innocent until proven guilty.)

US citizen or not, killing a cop could mean a death sentence. It would be in the USA too.

Taiwan’s honor is safe… The suspect is an American… wearing blue flip flop…

Unless it was a state without the death penalty…18 or so don’t have it. Oh and DC.

Holy shit! This man has the power of creating 50 copies of himself! He must be the X-men’s Multiple Man!

Any more thought about this? I’d like to know more.

This guy is as American as the dick head in the desert chopping heads off is British.

Makes me wonder.
Does the Bamboo Gang have the potential of becoming the next anti-West extremist group in this part of the world? Maybe.

How do you judge citizenship by someone’s ethnicity?
“American” does not automatically = white.

Sure that or the a coloration between between dual passport holders in Taiwan and daddy’s money. There’s no aspiration to be American or British. Its just a status symbol like their black Mercedes and popped RL collars.

Interesting that you mention Daddy’s money. On a certain news channel today, they were explaining that the guy is “no mafia, really”. He is a well known dandy in the night club circles, as his Dad is very rich, as he has several furniture factories “all over the world”, so this guy was able to “conjure” a mob of supporters in a flash… Yeah, right… :noway:

That’s the new dandy fashion? Back to the roots blue slippers! :ohreally:

Around here, perhaps.

I am trying to find a word to define the idea. Help Natives! A “player” just does not cut it. “Figure” is lacking.

I am a bit confused with the English “gangster”. Where I come back, gangsters are organized motherfuckers whose aim is organized crime. But I have the feeling that in English the use of the term is a bit wider, being suitable for idiots who hang out together and like to do things that are not always legal, implying that bad guys can be called gangsters.

Ok from the vid it seems that he was displeased with the club and hired about 50 thugs to come over and cause a commotion. A police officer (possibly not in uniform and possibly under the employment of the club) tried to calm things down but instead was dragged out and beaten to death. The unopened knife was put there by club security to try to keep his mouth open so he could breathe. But apparently he died on the spot.

The instigator is in trouble for sure for being the mastermind, but because his dad has a lot of money apparently they may pressure those in power to let him off relatively lightly and instead put the ones who actually did the brunt of the beating in jail or put to death. Of course his excuse is going to be that he never ordered a killing , that no one was supposed to die. So the ones who actually killed the guy is going to be roasted over a spit while he is going to walk with a light sentence.

Money talks…shit just fries.

I can’t wait for Taiwan uncontiditional love brigade to chime in and say

 1. Taiwan is the safest place on Earth
 2. Taiwanese guys such as the ones in the video are not cowards. It’s just us bignoses who don’t understand their “culture” (imagine me doing air quotes)
 3. The “If you don’t like it leave” approach, rapidly followed by the “IBetIt’sMuchWorseWhereYouComeFrom” attack
 4. Taiwan street food: So convenience! Much Gastronomy. Wow!

Got coupla axes to grind ?
If he is the guy who stabbed the officer, he is toast.

HIs daddy’s money isn’t going to help him. All the ones who attacked the officer are in deep shit.
Well yes and no. These guys are Bamboo Union right? Connected all the way to the top. So the play now is they have to give up someone, but they’ll negotiate who goes down and for how long. But let’s remember the Bamboo Union also has massive sway in the prison system.

Yup the bamboo union is connected to the KMT like the Yamaguchi Gumi is connected to the Japanese govt.

But a coupla guys will be sacrificed. Problem is , its not just going to be jail. A few dudes will be put to death for this.

The rest, including the perp with the rich dad is going to get off relatively lightly. The Gang will be VERY VERY VERY well compensated.
