They don’t hand them out to me. Won’t even prescribe me xanax and I’ve asked for it with legitimate reason.

I have a degree, but not sure it did me much good. It might have ticked boxes for jobs that don’t really require degrees but companies require it “just because”.
Then, I confused you with someone else.
it does great good, imo. Without it, you would be refused automatically for many opportunities.

Here the generally give massive amounts. And almost do not talk. I had sleeping issues and they gave me enough benzodiazepines to knock.out an elephant. 6mg of Estrazolam plus 2 mg of lorazepam plus a large dose of zolpidem. That was from a top psychiatrist in Taipei.

Yea, first time I went to VGH for sleeping problems and depression, he prescribed enough xanax to knock out an elephant. I actually had to specifically ask for them to NOT give me benzos. I guess that’s why nobody sells xanax illegally. No need to, just tell doctors you got sleeping issue and anxiety, and they will give you a ton of it.
Specifically I was given something like 60 0.5mg pills of xanax the first time.

They used to give out Stilnox like candy too.
Anytime you mention sleeping problem the go to solution seems to be benzos. No idea if it’s because they have huge stockpiles of it they want to get rid of. I just ask for antihistimines now as they are fairly effective in helping with insomnia and it also helps with the allergies too.
True they sell for good money on the streets of western cities (downers) , here you can get them so easily there is more or less no black market for them. But weed will get you six months in a drug withdrawl hospital/jail. 
Those benzos are one nasty habit to break. So effective for a few weeks then you are hooked and can die if you just quit them over night. The Zolpi is probably the best for sleep as it is not a Benzo , but they can cause weird stuff to happen

Like I said I just use benedryl for sleep. They are very effective, but sometimes its action time is variable. Can be as short as half an hour or as long as 2 hours. That and it keeps my cat allergies down.

They work fairly well, the old school anti histamines. And yeah it can kill two birds with one stone if you have allergies like we both do.

Someone told me to email various “embassies” in Taiwan. You know trade offices of various countries in Taiwan. He said they may have a need to have stuff translated.
But someone else said it will all be ignored because they aren’t known for answering emails and also their staff will already be bilingual at least.

I had it last year. My sense of smell/taste was messed up for months, but that was the only long-term aftereffect. Most people get it and don’t even know they’re sick – an estimated 50% or more of infections are asymptomatic. You are simply overindulging in fear porn.
It’s all gone online with OnlyFans. Have to travel to people’s homes to clean up their keyboards now.

I get what you mean, and thanks for the suggestion.
But fact of the matter is, yes I have 1 dose of COVID vaccines, not sure what protection, if any, it gives me, but in light of recent event it would be irresponsible to go out unnecessarily, especially it’s likely that we’ll go to level 4 next week anyways, and when that happens no in person jobs are going to happen unless those jobs are critical. So that means most manufacturing and in person work is out. Plus another dimension is social responsibility. If I just keep going out unnecessarily I don’t want to be that guy who infected 20 people because I was going out trying to find jobs.
Truth is I had a couple of work opportunities but in light of recent event it is not likely to happen anytime soon. One guy inquired about refinishing a Mexican Fender that had massive pieces of paint peel off. I told him it will be a complete refinish because there is no way it’s worth doing a partial refinish for this, and it’s easier to simply strip it off and refinish it. I’ve seen this and when it happens it means the paint has adhesion problem. He told me he will let me know what color he wants… have not heard from him since.
I also have another guitar commission that I might get, and I even had gotten a phone call about it. But then the guy who is setting up the deal, his father passed away. So I am not even sure it will happen in the near future.
Things just happen, and I am powerless to do much about it.
