Need to fully stop at "non-signalized" intersections?

If I’m in the way, I’m right

I always thought if an intersection has flashing red light then the light is like a stop sign, you must stop completely, check, then go if the coast is clear, and flashing yellow light means slow down and be careful.

Right, or in other words, yield. I was saying I don’t see many of these triangles in Taiwan. Instead, you have to figure out which is the little road and which is the wider road every time you approach an intersection.

Those indicate where you would stop if you need to, but stopping is optional unless there is also a painted 停.
