You don’t know what the cactus means?!!!
Almost 9000 posts, and you don’t know what the cactus means?!!!
Hahahahahahahahahaha
:roflmao:

I always thought it meant a middle finger, but what do I know?
It means whatever you want it to mean, just like anything else you type.

I like the cactus. It means ‘smileys are utterly retarded if you are older than 13 and this one’s about as random as it gets, so whack it on the end.’
We put it up in tribute to Yuma, a new Taipei restaurant (and Forumosa advertiser) started up by a Forumosan (and ex-moderator!) with whom we have had a long friendship.

BINGO!
When
I
see the mighty cactus,
I
picture Big Fluffy crossing his arms after a poorly-constructed argument, and saying,
“SO THERE!”
Then I hear the haboob.
I hear the harmattan.
The sound of the sirocco says it all.
Sincerely,
Z. Bender (AKA The Terror of the Thar, The Scourge of the Sahara, The God of the Gobi, The Nomad of the Namib, The Tick of the Arctic, The Great Victorian of the Great Victorian, The Empty Head of the Empty Quarter, The Tickler of the Taklamakan, The Serious Man of the Syrian . . .)
I thought it meant one is surrounded by pricks…
…thought it was meant to signify a ‘sticky’ subject…
yeah…“I think too much”…
It’s an obscurity, wrapped inside a prickling riddle, coated with a hallucinogenic outer skin. :lick:

i thought cacti only came from the Americas… a prickly question of origin, zender
Well, I ate french fries with tomato catsup for breakfast this morning RIGHT HERE in Taiwan!

The policemen told me I’m not allowed to do that any more. Unless I’m at home. With the windows closed.
i thought cacti only came from the Americas… a prickly question of origin, zender
The word “Cactus” was used to refer to a prickly plant in Sicily, wrongly thought at the time to be a cactus.

Johnny Yuma was a rebel.

Nick Adams! Yeah!
Elvis’ best friend.
I used to work with this dude from Arizona, sort of a jd smith lite, and he insisted on calling me Hondo…he said guys “like me” in the Southwest were always called Hondo.
Whatever the fuck that means…
Like that time me and Bubba 2 Guns walked into that little bar and the dude says “You guys are looking very Big Sur…”
:s
I told Allen that he had pictures of the plains Indians on the walls in Yuma and he basically said,
“Thank you Mr. Smart Ass Know It All it’s been pointed out way too many times, I’m well aware of that, could I just decorate my place the way I want to.” Actually he was much nicer in that. That’s where tequila comes from anyway.

Was that the place I set on fire? I hate when people ask us if we are professional wrestlers-must be the masks.
