a six-way partnership (sextouple?) with many children who lived in a large mansion. They were all highly paid professionals though, so it was an even division of ownership.

How does something like that come about?

Like was it 2 couple who decided they got on so well that they’d join their marriages? Then another couple also joined in?

At the opposite extreme was a throuple where one person was a trust fund kid and the other two had ordinary income. In that case the one owned the property from before but split ownership with the other two when they decided to be together for the long haul as a symbol of good faith etc.

That sounds like a dude paying 2 sugar babies to sleep with him.

Three and three actually, but two of the guys and at least one of the women are bi, but I never asked the mathematical details.

(Eta - or did you mean before they joined forces? That was 1F+2M and 2F+1M.)
