An elderly passenger (60) had been dead for a few days on a Taipei bus, and no one noticed or cared? Is it people up north so busy to make money, not care about other people
Bus was left for a few days in the depot over the holiday, driver came back to drive it and passengers noticed the dead man.
I would say needs investigating, for instance did he die from being locked in the bus ?
Also does anybody clean their buses!
How did the driver not notice the body, (“Hey buddy, end of the line, git off!”), don’t they do a walk-through of the vehicle at end of shift?
How did regular bus maintenance or cleaning crew not notice?
Why did it take new passengers to notice - how did driver not notice when he boarded to start the next shift, (“Wtf, ey?!? You gotta tap di card mon!”)?
Also, for that many days, quite sad it seems nobody cared that a person did not go home or at least was missing for a few days? Got to wonder: if someone noticed earlier, could outcome be different?

There’s a lot of weirdness in this story! Normally the drivers do a walk through at the end of a trip plus the Xindian depot where they park isn’t covered so not noticing a dead body on a bus that’s been sealed for 3 days baking in the sun is hard to believe…And not cleaning the bus, does nobody think of Covid any more?!
Did the body have a mask on? That’s important to some people.
Doesn’t surprise me by the way that these c*nt bus drivers drive.

It is neither of these things.
This strange situation involved Xindian Bus Company, which to anyone with eyes is one of wildest and least disciplined operators of public buses in the Taipei area. This company has been sh&tty for as long as I’ve lived here and it is no surprise to me that they are involved with this situation.

The New Taipei City Police Department’s Xindian Precinct also issued a statement on Sunday, saying that when authorities arrived on the scene, it was clear that the man was dead.
Sounds like something you would see in one the US crime shows like CSI, NCIS or Bones
