Republican US Rep Paul Gosar has defended his appearance at an upcoming fundraiser with a self-described “white majoritarian” who supported the Capitol insurrection and was removed from several social media platforms for hate speech.
Congressman Gosar, among GOP lawmakers who supported the “Stop the Steal” campaign and amplified the baseless narrative that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump and his supporters, will reportedly join Nick Fuentes at a fundraising event to be announced on 1 July.
In February, the pair appeared at the far-right America First Political Action Committee conference, marking the first appearance of a sitting member of Congress at the event, where Mr Fuentes reportedly told attendees that “white people are done being bullied” and praised the Capitol riot as “awesome”.
Of course.
Mr Fuentes – a prominent streamer and leader in the “groyper” movement of young reactionary far-right nationalists – has defended segregation, “joked” about Holocaust denial, and joined the violent, racist rally in Charlottesville in 2017.
Days before the Capitol riot, he appeared to suggest killing lawmakers who refused to overturn Joe Biden’s election victory.
“What can you and I do to a state legislator – besides kill him?” he said. “We should not do that. I’m not advising that, but I mean, what else can you do, right?”
Possibly the dumbest cutie pie attempt ever.
In return I give you CA Rep. Maxine Waters, who is a sitting member of Congress and not some blip of a money grubbing sign of the times PAC knucklehead like Fuentes.

Yes, they’ve been charged because they showed up to try and overthrow a capitol, incited by people like Trump, and Gosar’s buddy. Not sure when Gosar’s buddy showed up with his quotes, but you know, same deal.

Liz Harrington, the new spokesperson for Donald Trump, on Sunday tweeted a Bradenton Herald article about the former president’s campaign-style rally in Sarasota, Florida.
She highlighted this line from the story with her tweet, conveniently omitting that the claim was made by the rally’s organizers: “Saturday’s Save America Rally in Sarasota attracted a record crowd to the Sarasota Fairgrounds, organizers said.”
People on the platform mocked Harrington because the very same article disputed Trump’s claim about the 2020 election being stolen from him.
In the tweet, the subheadline of the story read: “There has been no evidence of widespread voter fraud that would have affected the outcome of the election.”
Kristi Naomi, right-wing Republican governor of South Dakota, posted a tweet showing pictures of glum teenagers holding sparklers at Fourth of July celebrations in Biden’s America, compared to the awesome fireworks display from Trump’s presidency.
Only one slight problem- the picture she used to illustrate how awesome life was under President Trump was actually from July 4, 2015, when Barack Obama was still president.
