Places to meet older women

Play date? :howyoudoin:

@Divea - The difference in the dating scene from 30 and under, and then re-entering at 35+ is astounding. There really is a huge difference, and as a 32 year old married lady you won’t really understand, unless you have to contend with it.

There does seem to be a very dry area in Taiwan from 34 onwards. Not sure why that is, but it is. It may be different in Taipei, but attracting women your age in your mid 30s onwards in Taiwan is tricky. It seems to me, mostly because women that age are either married, or have consigned themselves to being single and are out of the usual loop that foreigners move in. That is, you would need to be introduced to someone of that age, more often than not, to even begin to make a connection, or just get lucky. If you’re divorced, that may still be ok, but if you have a kid it makes things even more complicated and difficult here.
Not kidding bro, the second time up at bat. The pitcher has changed, the rules have changed, YOU have changed, your catcher has changed. Heck the people in the grandstand have changed ! And you are not in the same ballpark anymore either.
Dude! What are you on about? I think you mean the ref has changed. The grounds have changed from Twickenham to Eden Park and centers aren’t allowed to dump tackle anymore. Also, the feckers don’t shout for Northern Transvaal, but rather the Bulls now. That sounds more like changes I can relate to.

That said, I understand your basic premise. Where the hell are the Northern Transvaal supporters? They gotta be out there somewhere!!

What a slap in the face this thread is. I’m considered “older women” now.

I should just end it all now! Thanks a lot, guys.

OP - do you teach kids? Single mommies, hello!

Play date? :howyoudoin:
I think you’re a little old for my son. It might be fun to take the kids out together, though. My son would love any chance to get to play with someone else!

If one didn’t already have a thing for older women, this would be the king fuck dealmaker…

RrrrrrrrrOWRRrrrrrrrrrr…
KNow how you feel housemeow. Over here in berkeleyville very few people speak to strangers in cafes. Very much not what Im used to on the wan. I donno if you wan people talk to strangers in cafes still these days, but we used to meet a lot of people doing that. Maybe its a worldwide trend, this not speaking to people you dont know in cafe thing. Everyone brings their ipod, ipad, iwhatever and just engrosses themselves with themselves or anyone they came with ONLY.

Its funny because when it happens that someone speaks to me im kinda shocked for a few microseconds and :

 1. I don’t realize someone is speaking to me
 2. I am not understanding what they are saying because of 1
 3. after I hear what they are saying im wondering why she spoke to me at all?
 4. all very strange

two cases in point , separated by a span of maybe six years of berkeley cafe going?

first instance , white college aged girl sitting next to me commented on how good the icecream I was having looked.

second , just recently , another white college girl asked me what kind of soup I was having.

And that was the full extent of conversations I had with strangers in cafes in six years in berkeley !!!

Yes , i too learned to bring MY notebook, MY mp3 and mind MY own fcuking business ! Oh and if i wanted to talk, call up MY friend or friends.

Im a fresh water fish in the ocean or perhaps a salt water fish in a fresh water pond. Im in the wrong place. And probably maybe you are as well?
I don’t believe a real live woman talked to you without you having to give her your credit card number over the phone.

Transvaal for life!!! RED AND WHITE!

Well going by the 6 year stint in berkeley cafes and TWO ladys talked to me, they dont. One was attracted by the ice cream the other by the soup.

Dude, they are in the coffee cafes, they shop at Carefour and Costcos, they buy clothes at the malls, they work as nurses and doctors in the hospitals, they run their businesses, they are standing in line at the bank, and they work at the xiao chi. They go to mature upscale drinking establishment with their girlfriends. They are everywhere and especially Kaoshiung. Just say hello. Good luck

I love it when stuff gets bumped 2 years later ;p

True but still i would love for the OP to give us an update on how he is doing in his romantic life and to let us know if he’s found the place where ‘older’ women gather

According to his posts on Forumosa, he’s doing quite well. :bravo:

In September 2011, he got involved with a Vietnamese mail order bride working in a restaurant. Love comes in the strangest ways

In September 2012, he talks about his girlfriend loaning money to her sister and her sister’s out of work American boyfriend. I wouldn’t assume that a Vietnamese mail order bride also has a sister in Taiwan, so it looks like he’s “upgraded” to a Taiwanese girl. Do business with family/ friends - and getting ripped off!

Love is a many soured thing ?

Ok, if you want to meet, talk to, and date older Taiwanese women the answer is easy. Buy a cute small dog that loves women. Really, even though I am married, I have meet and talked to so many beautiful Taiwanese women because of my Jack Russell Terrier, eddie. First, most women love dogs especially one that is rare here in Taiwan. Not very many JRT here so he always get the cute girls. Plus, he loves women and is a ladies man. He never meet a women, girl, or child he doesn’t love so that’s my advice.

Buy a cute dog.

I’m an “older” woman (though not Taiwanese) and I second this advice. A dog gives a perfect conversation opener and makes a guy look caring. Good stuff.

Plus, if you fail in the love department, you can always eat the dog.

Once the mission is accomplished, you can drop the dog at the riverside park.

Edit: Actually, several lonely guys can utilize the same dog.

Keep the dog, they are more loyal. Dogs are yours for life

Ooh, this is good stuff. Maybe a baby as well? Would a baby also work? Mother died in bizarre gardening accident?

I thought about that,too.
However, if you are in the position where you could borrow a baby, you probably won’t need our help.
