I only speak for myself…but no. No, a baby wouldn’t work.
If you’re talking about older women, if we haven’t chosen babies and dogs ourselves, why would we choose baggage babies and dogs? Not much makes me ick like the opportunity to stepmother, on the couple of occasions it’s come up. I’m not mental - if I fell in love, I’d do it and love it, but it’s really not the draw you think it is, lads. 
And dogs: get a decent one, not a hamster on a string: you look like an idiot with that thing.

Quite true, the ladies fawning over your dog usually have a boyfriend to fawn over too. Or a husband.
