Well, at least we agree on sports. It’s like watching paint dry to me (especially baseball and soccer). I can’t watch any sports but football, where the time limits and the violence make things a little less boring.

Do sports games count? I really cannot get into watching 2+ hour basketball, football or baseball games. I’ve tried… a lot. But I find it so mind-numbingly boring. This was a problem when trying to fit in at college.

I think tennis is more exciting to watch as it’s fast paced, but a match is way too long and the same people keep winning all the big tournaments so it gets old fast too.

Watching a fuzzy ball go back and forth over a net? Yeah, nah. Watching McEnroe was pretty entertaining, but that was more performance art.

I can watch a boxing match or a UFC match. I guess I’m a savage at heart, since people doing violence to each other is compelling spectacle. Bring back the gladiator games!

Watching McEnroe was pretty entertaining, but that was more performance art.

You have to watch a match where he’s commentating. The match is 100x more interesting when he’s behind the mic.

No one liked him, but Brad Gilbert, when he was commentating for ESPN and NBC was a great laugh too. He would just make shit up that made usually made no sense, but made the match a bit more interesting.
