In the U.S., “Right on!” was an expression of agreement or approval used by the hippies.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard that expression…but I’m also not from the Us and I don’t think I’ve ever met any hippies, so it makes sense.
I thought it was like the DAS RITE meme, so I’m a bit disappointed.

Always good to hear sense coming out of academia. He’s a good speaker
