Nah…Fleury’s written a book lately and Wendell definitely should, so let’s let them tell their own stories.
All good, Sandman; it’s the off season and there’s not a lot of chance to talk hockey other than the few brews we have after our skate on Thursday nights. You should strap on the blades and come out some time if you feel like it.
I maybe will, one of these days. I was considered pretty fast and dangerous – when I was like 8 years old – it must be 30 years since I last skated. I’ll probably wait until the boy is old enough, though – he’s DEFINITELY going to learn how to skate before he goes to school.
That’s great, man! If you’re at all interested, I’ve got a mate who runs a hockey program for kids here, both ice and inline. They start as young as four or five and a lot of kids love it so much that they stick with the program for years. A lot of the coaches play in our adult hockey league. PM me if you want details.
