I have an Android tablet and use the app.
I didn’t know Forumosa had an app!
There are apps which can be used with any Discourse forum.
I have it, don’t know how or when I got it.
At the risk of getting off-topic, any one to recommend?
I think we should go on strike until management fixes the issue.

I hate Forumosa on the PC. I only like the mobile view on tablets. I get the scroll bug in Safari on the iPad mini but not in Chrome on the S7.
I tried looking at this again, and found the suggestion of reading the site in safe mode, but it still happened. That suggests to me it’s not a function of any of our settings or modifications, but something about Discourse itself. Indeed, others have reported similar issues to Discourse (I just did too). They note that loading posts of variable height and content when scrolling up can lead to this kind of problem. I don’t know. Scrolling a bit more slowly seems to help for me, I’ll keep trying that.

Only happens to me when I scroll down.
Doesn’t seem to make a difference for me, although speed is relative I guess.

This video shows three instances of the scrolling issue reported in forums which use Discourse as their platform. Whilst simply scrolling through a forum thread, the screen jumps back to a previously read posting near where first starting.
First time at about the 30 second mark. After scrolling through some posts, it jumps back to @owleyes post responding to @Shaun008 “Oh I guess that’s for antibodies, not the PCR.” The scrolling issue didn’t happen again on this thread and I was able to navigate to the final post. Strangely, it didn’t happen on the next thread I looked at “Influenza - Vitamin C and vaccines”
Second time in the “Diabetes Type 2 , possible cure!” thread at about the 2:27 mark. It jumps back to the previously read posting by @Crusher responding to @nz’s posting of “Sugar. The problem is sugar.”
Third time is still in the “Diabetes Type 2 , possible cure!” thread at about the 3:08 mark. It jumps right back to the “Sugar. The problem is sugar.” from 1 day ago all the way back to 2 days ago which had already been read 3 times.
This problem sucks ass.
I suppose no one else has the issue I commented about?
Pictures loading in, perhaps?
Test if it works with some really old threads, like 2003 with text-only?
It just happened several times when I was reading a 2010 thread now. No videos and pictures to load, and it kept jumping back to the top of the thread.
Interestingly, most of the times (if not all of them) the jumps happened when I reached posts that haven’t being loaded yet. I wonder if this can be related to the bug…
Not me. I only experience the “return to first post” jank.
