Girls can are very clingy. They might message other girls you are friends with on FB to see if you have dated them in the past.
Break ups are tough. This follows the first point. Girls in Taiwan often do not take breakups well.
In the States, I am used to girls breaking up and then never talking to me again. Not the case in Taiwan.
Also, I hate to say it, but I have experienced that many girls who prefer foreigners prefer a guy who is White/European. I say this as a foreigner myself.
