I wonder if something is afoot. We had a 4.5 last week, a 5.5 this week. Picking up speed, or letting off some steam (pressure on the fault line)?

Hmm I am wondering that too - seems like things are rather active right now! 
Am I going mental, or where there several small earthquakes/tremors in a row in the middle of the night?

According to the CWB, there was nothing shaking that night.
Totally felt that one at 15:19…thought I was going crazy, it was two jolts…that’s it. Strange!
Pretty darn good shaking and creaking of walls here in Hualien just now (= at around 12:23)
[edit, at 12:38: must have been less than M4.5, and perhaps rather local, since it hasn’t shown up on either the USGS site nor the CWB site]
