set up a lot of small transmitters on lampposts and telegraph poles etc which means you then may not need to have fiber going into your house.

Yeah, it’s all fun and games until your entire neighbourhood connects to the same lamp post and your 500Mbps become 50Mbps.

I have no lag with anything I do now on my phone. Downloads of movies or whatever are fast enough and streaming works fine.

No real need to upgrade to 5G phone until more 5G-intensive product becomes available.

Yeah, why go 5G anyway. I only have two eyes. The net’s fast
3G/4G ) enough to download songs and the odd movie.
Everything’s available on tap now anyway, Why download? If the net was working fine, 3 G was fast enough for me. I am a radio, video stream consumer. The only things I download are movies that are obscure or banned. What will you do with your 5g service to justify the cost?

Web browsing does seem faster with a 5G phone I noticed. Forumosa too.
