A couple of engineering firms along with my consulting firm… Cannot go into details, but a test project will begin construction down south (should be within the next year) to solve this Nationwide issue. Hopefully it works since if it does I will not be working anymore!!

This was my dilemma at lunch today too. I decided getting totally soaked from the waist down (still not dry almost 3 hours later) was less punishing than eating our cafeteria food.

A typhoon day is long overdue! What are the chances of a typhoon day this week, does anyone have an idea?
There are three of them now. And my summer class teacher still insists that we trek to Yingge tomorrow. She’s taking the class to Jiufen on Wednesday, but I’m not going up in the mountains with three storms around us. I’m smarter than that.
One of my local friends said she thinks there will be day off tomorrow, but she hasn’t seen anything official.
By the way, the link I had bookmarked for school and work closures doesn’t seem to work anymore. Can someone supply a new one? Chinese or English, both work for me.
