Taiwanese passport Bros

Yes. I get so much attention from MILFs it’s ridiculous. It’s called the Great Switcheroo. In your teens and 20s hot females were in their prime and they knew it and guys had to prove themselves. After 30 the women get desperate and the silver haired foxes who had the sense to stay single (and kept themselves in reasonably decent shape) start getting more action than they can handle.

As long as you stay in your lane, that is. If you start chasing after the same college age babes you did in your 20s, they get creeped out. :grimacing:

…and that’s the problem right there. Owning a house in Taiwan makes you rich compared to most foreigners. Strike 1. Strike 2 many foreigners don’t have a car. Strike 3 their Chinese is not good.
And those three are just the basic requirements for many women if they want to settle down. Probably 2 out of those 3 for dating for most as well.

Money can replace personality, for men. Looks can replace personality, for women.

Food, women, job opportunities, no need to worry about China invading…

My daughter has three and my future kids with my current wife will have 4.

Maybe my wife should give birth in US airspace so my kids could have a 5th passport?

Depends what your job is. If its teaching English congrats you qualify as earning more than most here. You don’t need to be rich, just stable.

Now if you want to leave Taiwan and not learn chinese those are obviously points against you. But those are going to differ case by case.

As for the car it also depends if you want to drive or not. Personally I dont see the point but I will lose this battle eventually. My gf doesn’t shut up about it.

And no it is not easier to date after 30 in the west.

Its far easier here. Because ‘mature’ (notice i didnt say older) men are far more desirable. Mature = stable.

So you have a big age range to choose from. Forget about teying to date younger girls in the west without getting called a creep or rapist or something.

I kind of get it, even older guys here can still be man childs so the younger ones must be very immature.

Thats the most depressing thing i have heard

Not according to most guys I know there.
Also English teachers really aren’t high on the earning totem pole these days.
Throw in lack of a house and car, not a great deal for the ladies and their families. People are super materialistic here if it comes to marriage. My in-laws bitched plenty about it before. That said less and less people are getting married so…
A local guy with a stable job can get on the housing ladder with help from family and thus they will appear more financially stable even if not guaranteed to be the case.

A lot depends on age and class, like anywhere. If you pay attention on hiking trails or certain restaurants you will see a lot of older couples dating , divorcees in many cases. Then labourers and blue collars I don’t think they are all getting married these days Takes all types.

Yeah, the food is pretty terrible down here. But I wouldn’t say I am “laid a lot”, just that I have heard it isn’t difficult when someone wants to make the effort

Going by my own experience, friends and relatives and current info out there about dating apps seriously changing the game the be much harder for blokes I can only disagree.

I mean yea the girls here could do better than to shack up with one of us for sure. No doubt about it. But they could do worse as well.

If you are a stable wai guo ren and you are willing to learn Chinese and get along with the family your prospects are still decent and better than back home imo… your gf might have a reality check at some point though LOL.

Highly dependent on the city.

For men over 30, getting dates in New York City is probably the easiest in the world. Regardless of your race, appearance, or income level.

But yes, if you are a Canadian or US citizen, you get +2 points.

“25 passports” sounds great until the next major crisis hits. We’ve already seen how quickly the EU’s unity unravels under pressure: borders closing overnight, supply chains disrupted, vaccine nationalism, energy shortages.

It only takes one more geopolitical shock, economic downturn, or mass migration event to push the system to its limits. The cooperation looks strong on the surface, but beneath it, tensions are simmering. When the next storm comes, will that unity hold or will each country start looking out for itself again?

Half of America is not “In the City”. Red states voted Trump into the election. In half of the U.S., you are in a small town or rural area where both men and women have limited dating options. You take what you can get. The world is your oyster but your future’s a clam.

My wife often brings up one additional advantage to marrying a western foreigner that is being overlooked here - our wives will not be expected to look after our parents. Obviously the wife cannot, if our parents are in our home countries, but even if the couple moves back together, there still will be no such traditional requirement.

Apparently the expectation that the wife take care of her parents-in-law remains quite entrenched in traditional families, and continues to lead to much suffering on the part of the wife. Or so she says.

You’re right. 80% of Americans live “in the city”. And 25% of Americans live in the top 10 tier 1 cities alone.

That’s not how the Electoral College works. Suck it, popular vote. Minority rules!

TT post, he wrote it better. Taiwanese women mostly do not want a chav/Bogan.
