Hell, it wouldn’t be the first time
Better safe than sorry, which I imagine @Icon has tattooed somewhere on her body.
Are trying to get us into imagining @Icon’s body?
Guns don’t kill people on their own, they need something to push the trigger.
Relax, it’s probably tattooed on her forehead. ![]()
The parents are probably laughing at that final request. We are in motherland ‘Taiwan’ now.wherr my money talks and my kid can be whatever he wants I will take care of the damage.
Pulling the trigger of a gun is way easier then having to use some kind of physical force to kill someone. So it makes sense that having less guns results in less killings. And the statistics don’t lie in this case. Imagine if there was the same amount of guns in Taiwan, people would get shot everywhere on a daily basis.
With all the psychos here and the new toy the killing would be disastrous.
I’m pretty certain that kid will be looking for more types of weapons, he’s a star now after all.
As for being a mass murderer, you don’t necessarily have to be a mass murderer to play with weapons. But in this kid’s case, he committed a terrorist act in the United States and
basically got off scott-free. He beat the (currently) most powerful nation. Combined with being really spoiled, I can see this going to his head and thinking “No one can touch me”
He was very fortunate indeed to have rich parents who could hire a good lawyer.
What act of terrorism did he commit in the US?
Exactly. In an environment of massive concern and reaction about school shootings, his punishment was minimal. That’s not because they hired Clarence Darrow, or they just didn’t feel like punishing him. He did very little
Threatening to shoot up a school. Maybe you missed that part, since that’s what got him arrested in the first place.
ter·ror·ist
/ˈterərəst/
noun
plural noun: terrorists
- a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
“four commercial aircraft were hijacked by terrorists”
I must have missed his political aims with his potential school massacre.
He write some manifesto or webcam his political views?
I am guessing you miss a lot of things. He was charged with and plead guilty to “terroristic threats”.
Media, Pennsylvania, June 4 (CNA) A Taiwanese student accused of threatening to shoot up his school in Pennsylvania pleaded guilty on Monday to the charge of making “terroristic threats” in exchange for having a "possession of instrument
In March, authorities said Sun warned a classmate at Bonner and Prendergast Catholic High School not to come to the Drexel Hill school on May 1 because Sun planned to go on a shooting spree that day. Upper Darby police arrested Sun, 18, who is from Taiwan and was staying with a host family in Lansdowne, and charged him with making terroristic threats.
This guy looks like he cries after scraping a knee. Stop acting like he’s some hard core criminal lol
I pop back here every once in a while and the hysteria is amusing.
Even a supervillain has to start somewhere.
i think this is more apt:
Terrorism, as defined in 18 U.S. Code, Chapter 113B, involves acts of violence that appear intended to:
- Intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
- Influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
- Affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping.
So, did the boy intimidate, influence, or affect the population or government?
I find the public reactions to his life in Taiwan funny as well.
I think you must be Taiwanese butt hurt or something.
The kid was charged with making terroristic threats, plead guilty to those charges and was just kicked out of the USA. He won against the USA. If that doesn’t go to the spoiled kid’s head, I don’t know what will.
Is your MO for civilly discussing things to use “butt hurt”? Please, be mature.

However, despite “domestic terrorism” being defined by U.S. Code, there are no specific penalties prescribed for acts of domestic terrorism. Inclusion of the term allows the federal government to investigate such crimes, but they’re charged as murder, assault, or other related crimes. In other words, there is no “substantive offense” for domestic terrorism under federal law.
One prominent example of a domestic terrorism-related conviction involved Timothy McVeigh, responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing of a federal building in 1995. McVeigh hoped the bombing would lead to a revolution. He was convicted for his use of weapons of mass destruction and for the murders for which he was responsible and put to death by lethal injection, but he wasn’t charged with “terrorism” per se.
so, please @nonredneck, come up with a substantive response next time, pun intended.
