Sure, if your perspective is political. Otherwise…a bullshit smear.

Corrected the typo.
As for impeachment calls before inauguration, that looks a lot like overturning an election to me.
Why rest your argument on hypotheticals? There are plenty of facts about the Biden family riding the family name. Uhm…The Big Guy.
Start here in case you missed it when @cake posted it, like all of yesterday.
Joe Biden, getting those hard hitting Colbert questions:
Why the fuck is Colbert the choice for this interview? Are you fucking serious?
What year and planet are you living on?
Beijing Biden would approve. The man who bedded a Chinese spy:

Beijing Biden: “Folks, we’re in a crisis. Just like we need a unified national response to COVID-19, we need a unified national response to climate change. We need to meet this moment with the urgency it demands as we would during any national emergency.”
Looks like it’s time to crash the economy again.
He didn’t bed a Chinese spy. A Chinese spy bedded him.
Not unless Trump gets us all 2K so they can’t fund the stoopid.
rich
Speaking of crashing the economy, I see Trump is shooting his mouth off about vetoing the relief bill. Never a situation so bad that Trump can’t make it worse.
Headline Mike: no context.
You have to admit though, it is a pretty dumb conceit. Does having a Ph.D. make one’s opinion more valuable? Not really. At least an M.D. can heal the sick. What can a Ph.D. do? And then there are those Ph.D.s who insist on being called Dr. You know the type.
President Doctor Tsai Ing-wen?
Did she say that? No. But having a PhD, a doctorate, means you now have the title doctor. I don’t see what’s controversial about this. It’s so dumb.
Also, I would add your opinion on the subject you spent 7 years studying would at least be more knowledgeable than those who haven’t dedicated their lives to it. Whether that translates to “more valuable” is subjective.
Just please don’t insist on being called Dr. after you get your Ph.D.
I think what’s annoying is that it’s used in the media to score cheap political points. For example, you rarely see “Dr. Ben Carson” used in the mainstream media (well, except for Fox), and he’s an actual brain surgeon FFS. Or Rand Paul or Ron Paul, who also merit the title. It’s a stupid political game.
I may have to get a PhD to keep my uni job if enrollment keeps dropping.
Damn declining birth rate… I digress though.
Huh? I almost always see him called as this. ![]()
Anyway, it’s a silly and meaningless debate. It’s her choice and she’s earned the title.
Women with PhDs- who work in academia, anyway- are more likely to use the term Dr. because otherwise they get referred to as Ms/Miss/Mrs., while males with the same qualifications will be referred to as Professor or Doctor, rather than Mr. It’s a way of asserting their qualifications, which are often otherwise overlooked.
Is the media really buying this shit or just selling it?
