No, obstruction of justice gets you 3-4 years. Campaign finance violations can end up with prison time too. Trump at a minimum did what Michael Cohen did, and that guy got like 2-3 years
No, but they do arrest them. When it becomes far too obvious they cant hide their crimes, they have them hang themselves in their closely watched cell with no shits given afterwards. I’m not sure I agree with this. I think with a 2016 loss he was gonna start up some version of Trump TV, and clearly he still has a following. This isn’t him trying to market his failed business products, he would be marketing himself.
And aside from being a POS president and human being, he’s quite entertaining and funny. He wouldn’t have won without his success on The Apprentice, so I kinda think he’d have a substantial following, taking over as a Alex Jones type, hocking conspiracy theories next to products.
As a politician he may have ruined his brand, and will do so more in the coming months, but if he wants to make money doing TV stuff, I think it will be easy for him.

An ex-Manhattan prosecutor has warned that “subpoenas and seizures” await President Donald Trump following his presidency
Daniel R Alonso, who acted as Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s top deputy from 2010 to 2014 and is now in private practice, made the projection to The New York Times.
“There are subpoenas and seizures and documents all over the place, as well as constant meetings with lawyers,” Mr Alonso said, adding, “It would certainly not be pleasant for him.”
I agree there will be something. The man has no morals (and a good handful of other character flaws), but he’s not stupid. Trump knows he has lost. He’s known it all along. But he has something up his sleeve. Something like what this article is talking about. I guess we’ll find out very soon.

Washington (CNN)New York authorities investigating the Trump Organization have expanded their inquiries to include tax write-offs involving millions of dollars in consulting fees, according to people familiar with the investigation.
Investigators with the Manhattan district attorney’s office, which is conducting a broad criminal investigation, and the New York attorney general’s office, which has a civil inquiry under way, have subpoenaed the Trump Organization seeking records relating to the consulting fees.
The subpoenas were in response to a New York Times investigation into President Donald Trump’s tax returns that first disclosed that he took $26 million in write-offs that came from fees he paid to consultants, including an apparent $747,000 fee that the Times said matched a payment disclosed by Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Redistricting occurs every ten years after the census and the Republicans are still benefiting from REDMAP strategy of 2010 where computer modeling was used to basically make it impossible for a democrat to win. This why 2020 was so important.
Let’s be real. Democrats do not gerrymander on any level compared to Republicans. This is IMO the only reason the party survives since they’ll get clobbered by the popular vote. Ya know the will of the people. Demographics are not in the GOPs favor.
