I have had a craving for a banana split for a while. PX Mart has the real cream, ice cream, but no chocolate syrup or jello. Oh well, that’s asking too much for jello.

If those Japanese guys can engineer a faux apple pie ice cream bar (as championed by @Marco ), one would think they could also put together a faux banana split ice cream bar too.

This shouldn’t be hard: fresh Taiwan bananas, a decent vanilla ice cream, plus random decent chocolate of some kind you could melt down yourself.

Is this at 7-11? More importantly, a Danshui 7-11? When @afterspivak posted about the mini bars a while ago, for a few days I looked in the various 7-11s I walked by, but didn’t see these bars anywhere.

You guys are hyping this so much, I can’t wait to get on a plane to go to Taiwan My favorite ice cream will always be the salted caramel flavor from Bi-Rite San Francisco, and IMO Hagen Dasz ice creams are terrible, so this better be not disappointing.
