I’m buying more guns as soon as I get home.

I own lots of stuff and I’m quite satisfied and happy now.

Might be able to buy guns, it’s the ammo that’ll make you wait a few months.
On the other hand, plenty of shotgun shells.
Make sure you buy lead, as it flies longer, faster, and… it’s lead

You can’t buy guns here in Taiwan. You could possibly make them, make blackpowder, and stuff it with fishing weights. It’s also highly illegal to do in Taiwan and is a capital crime if caught.

But you WILL be happy.

I wonder what the ‘new social contract’ means?

new-social-contract

Ah I think the social contract is referring to the idea of the implicit authority of society for companies to exist and run, given they act within the bounds of society’s expectations
A new social contract… I couldn’t tell ya but it sounds like the roles are being reversed to me. Sounds like a brave new world…

I plan to take a pass on the proletarian paradise. While everyone else is getting 666 branded on their foreheads I’ll be long gone.

You have to sign the contract to find out what’s in it. And don’t forget to bring your blood and stool samples to The Signing.

“Happiness” never figures into my daily life or long term planning. “I want to be happy” is a childish saying imo. “I want to be happy every day” is insanity.

I live my life well, I try to do good and be better. I am not completely satisfied, but I try and improve my situation and the that of those around me all the time.

I don’t think it’s even possible to honor the dignity of every human being without lowering the bar to what constitutes humane-ity across the board.

It’s like saying, “I love everyone.”

Even Hitler?

I mean the response should be “Yes,” yeah?

It rarely is. :smoker:

How’s life in the Soviet Union?

Can’t complain.

Part of Archbishop Viganò’s open letter to President Trump warning him of Deep State/Deep Church and the Great Reset of 2021:

A global plan called the Great Reset is underway. Its architect is a global élite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations. In several nations this plan has already been approved and financed; in others it is still in an early stage. Behind the world leaders who are the accomplices and executors of this infernal project, there are unscrupulous characters who finance the World Economic Forum and Event 201, promoting their agenda.

The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and cancelling individual debt. The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups. Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated.

That last picture is awesome. Stalin himself probably sat around doodling things like that (with his free hand strumming away under the desk).

As I said elsewhere, I bet Marx never, in his wildest dreams, ever imagined that the people to bring down the capitalist oligarchy and usher in the new Socialist order would be … the capitalist oligarchy.

The scions of the wealth creators have always been the vanguard of the revolution.

This is why I would support a 100% inheritance tax, if only there were a way of stopping the money from going to the government.

Rent everything? hey it works for bikes and scooters. I’m not really sure what else it could work for though. Underwear? Cutlery? Butt plugs? no thanks.

FWIW, I’ve been loving my Fruit of the Loom subscription service.
