Another one from the golden age of baseball
Everything is Going to be All Right
How should I not be glad to contemplate
the clouds clearing beyond the dormer window
and a high tide reflected on the ceiling?
There will be dying, there will be dying,
but there is no need to go into that.
The poems flow from the hand unbidden
and the hidden source is the watchful heart.
The sun rises in spite of everything
and the far cities are beautiful and bright.
I lie here in a riot of sunlight
watching the day break and the clouds flying.
Everything is going to be all right.

Damn, I was always looking forward the the VH stadium tour reunion they teased every summer.
Rock God indeed.
2020 continues its trend of being terrible…
Rock is running out of warm bodies.
The planned reunion was going to be with the classic line up too.
Sad day.
I was about to say so. New low.
Really…that guy seems burned…out.
No video…god…damn!
Came (late) for the same reason.
No! Man, I love that song.
A nice tribute from Pete Townshend:
“I was once asked by Michael Jackson to play electric guitar on the Thriller album,” Townshend tells Rolling Stone. “I said I couldn’t do it but recommended Eddie who called and we chatted. He was utterly charming, happy about the connection, but told me how much he was enjoying playing keyboards. His smile was just classic. A man in his rightful place, so happy to be doing what he did.”
“It’s completely tragic that we have lost him,” he adds. “He was not just an innovative and stylish player with great taste, he was also a laidback virtuoso showman who just blew us all away every time. Every shredder today has lost their Master Teacher and Guide.”

Right
Also right.
About Eddie’s smile, Townshend has this quip back in the day:
“That incredible virtuosity combined with that beautiful grin allows me to forgive him for letting David Lee Roth stand in front of him.”
RIP.
