I’ve heard the Tienmu Starbucks is beautiful and the atmosphere, with lots of natural light, big windows and outdoor seating, makes you enjoy the place. I haven’t been there yet though, and I am looking for coffee shops (not limited to Starbucks) that have this same type of arrangements. If not in the city but a bit up the mountain either in the north or south of the city is fine too. Highly appreciate your recommendations
This more of an old dude’s house with some tables in front but the vacuum-brewed coffee is great and fresh air, view etc. can’t be beat.

Beautiful architecture
Out of the umpteen Starbucks locations in Taipei, I would vote for the Bangka branch in the renovated Wanhua Lin Family building, about five minutes walk from Longshan Temple MRT Station:

I was working just next to that Tianmu Starbucks. Always people taking pictures in front.
Reminded me of the Starbucks in the Kitano district in Kobe, Japan (which is a tad less beautiful from the outside, but much better inside):

This place looks cool
Restaurant with live music in the evenings. Like classical or some jazz or blues. Good space.
I’ve never been in the daytime and I don’t know if they encourage people just to sit and have coffee.

The reviews on google for Loiusa coffee Daan Park are that the place is filthy, sticky floor etc. I have not yet been there though

Sticky floor? Maybe that’s a different shop nearby. That’s strange. It’s a very new spot inside a newer MRT station.
I’ve never considered it to be anything but new modern clean.
Anyway it’s in a sunken garden and there’s a waterfall splashing nearby and just chill spot. Comfy seats also outdoor seating.
