Back to your original post, the only fact we can establish is that “some guy with a history of making up conspiracy theories has filed a lawsuit”. Please provide some evidence (or at least your own narrative) for why anyone should take this lawsuit seriously. If you cannot do this, I have to ask why did you post it in the first place?

I’m amazed that you are even trying.

An endangered species, perhaps, though sadly not yet extinct:

NY Times
…Until this month, the man who is widely credited with starting the cyberwhisper campaign that still dogs Mr. Obama was a secondary character in news reports, with deep explorations of his background largely confined to liberal blogs.

But an appearance in a documentary-style program on the Fox News Channel watched by three million people last week thrust the man, Andy Martin, and his past into the foreground. The program allowed Mr. Martin to assert falsely and without challenge that Mr. Obama had once trained to overthrow the government…
Well the irony here is that the accusation has been made that MT, who strove to address the OP’s post with a logical refutation, is the attention seeker, and yet one would consider the posting of something as half-arsed, which clearly the OP has no sympathy for, nothing other than attention seeking. It would be nice to think this was an anomaly, but if you stick around you’ll find this curious posting style to be something of a signature.

Obama has sex with young boy!

I can’t find the link but it’s a story in the National Enquirer. They were right about Edwards. Obama said, “I committed these detestible acts when he was 8 years old!”

Edit: I called it, didn’t I.

Obama will have to be caught screwing an underage boy while reciting the Koran in order to lose this one, watch the poll nos on this one. (No, watch intrade instead, the obama contracts are in a bull market).
It could happen.
Will this do? Obama had gay affair at 10 :astonished:

Edit–Here’s the Enquirer Story

It’s no wonder he was all hot and bothered to get his sex ed for kindergarteners program passed. He wants to have sex with them.

Now they are saying that Obama was in the Socialist party. It just keeps getting better. I’m sure it’s not true, but even if it was it would be better than continuing the disastrous policies of the current Republican administration.

My my my…darned if ya do and darned if ya don’t…

Web Archives Confirm Barack Obama Was Member Of Socialist ‘New Party’ In 1996

Archives prove Obama was a New Party member (updated)
"Another piece in the puzzle of Barack Obama has been revealed, greatly strengthening the picture of a man groomed by an older generation of radical leftists for insertion into the American political process, trading on good looks, brains, educational pedigree, and the desire of the vast majority of the voting public to right the historical racial wrongs of the land.

The New Party was a radical left organization, established in 1992, to amalgamate far left groups and push the United States into socialism by forcing the Democratic Party to the left. It was an attempt to regroup the forces on the left in a new strategy to take power, burrowing from within. The party only lasted until 1998, when its strategy of “fusion” failed to withstand a Supreme Court ruling. But dissolving the party didn’t stop the membership, including Barack Obama, from continuing to move the Democrats leftward with spectacular success. "
From 1995: “What Makes Obama Run”

chicagoreader.com/features/s … rackobama/

“What makes Obama different from other progressive politicians is that he doesn’t just want to create and support progressive programs; he wants to mobilize the people to create their own. He wants to stand politics on its head, empowering citizens by bringing together the churches and businesses and banks, scornful grandmothers and angry young. Mostly he’s running to fill a political and moral vacuum. He says he’s tired of seeing the moral fervor of black folks whipped up–at the speaker’s rostrum and from the pulpit–and then allowed to dissipate because there’s no agenda, no concrete program for change.”

“…Obama himself says he’s not certain that his experimental plunge into electoral politics can produce the kind of community empowerment and economic change he’s after.”

Obama: “Third, is it possible for those of us working through the Democratic Party to figure out ways to use the political process to create jobs for our communities?”
New Party Online News - Elections Update
Illinois: The first NP member heads to Congress, as Danny Davis wins an overwhelming 85% victory yesterday (he got a higher percentage of the vote in that district than the President). NP member and State Senate candidate Barack Obama won uncontested. Interestingly, it appears that the local Democratic machine is trying to distance itself from our folks. At a “Democratic Unity” march on Chicago’s West Side, a flyer invited community members to join with a host of local democratic candidates. The only two west-side Democrats not listed: NP members Danny Davis (U.S. House candidate) and Michael Chandler (Alderman and Ward Committeeman).”

Chicago New Party Update
by Bruce Bentley
"About 50 activists attended the Chicago New Party membership meeting in July. The purpose of the meeting was to update members on local activities and to hear appeals for NP support from four potential political candidates. The NP is being very active in organization building and politics. There are 300 members in Chicago. In order to build an organizational and financial base the NP is sponsoring house parties. Locally it has been successful both fiscally and in building a grassroots base. Nationwide it has resulted in 1000 people committed to monthly contributions. The NP’s political strategy is to support progressive candidates in elections only if they have a concrete chance to “win”. This has resulted in a winning ratio of 77 of 110 elections. Candidates must be approved via a NP political committee. Once approved, candidates must sign a contract with the NP. The contract mandates that they must have a visible and active relationship with the NP.
The political entourage included Alderman Michael Chandler, William Delgado, chief of staff for State Rep Miguel del Valle, and spokespersons for State Sen. Alice Palmer, Sonya Sanchez, chief of staff for State Sen. Jesse Garcia, who is running for State Rep in Garcia’s District; and Barack Obama, chief of staff for State Sen. Alice Palmer. Obama is running for Palmer’s vacant seat.”

New Party Update
by Bruce Bentley
The Chicago New Party is increasely becoming a viable political organization that can make a different in Chicago politics. It is crucial for a political organization to have a solid infrastructure and visible results in its political program. The New Party has continued to solidify this base.
First, in relation to its infrastructure, the NP’s membership has increased since January ‘95 from 225 to 440. National membership has increased from 5700 in December ‘95 to 7000. Currently the NP’s fiscal balance is $7,000 and receives an average of $450/month is sustainer donations.
Secondly, the NP’s ‘96 Political Program has been enormously successful with 3 of 4 endorsed candidates winning electoral primaries. All four candidates attended the NP membership meeting on April 11th to express their gratitude. Danny Davis, winner in the 7th Congressional District, invited NPers to join his Campaign Steering Committee. Patricia Martin, who won the race for Judge in 7th Subcircuit Court, explained that due to the NP she was able to network and get experienced advice from progressives like Davis. Barack Obama, victor in the 13th State Senate District, encouraged NPers to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration.”

TC, Chewy’s not talking to me but since you’re equally into grand conspiracies, perhaps you could tell me how they got the bombs into the WTC, and where they hid them? It’s the only aspect of the whole plot I’m having trouble with.

Ommagod, a SOCIALIST? Is he going to nationalize the banks, create new entitlements programs and double the debt? Oh lord, who would vote for such a person, let alone endorse for 8 years, er, to be the next president?

Anyway, good to see the Repubs like TC getting their values back after 8 years of selling them out to maintain their base (in every way) support for Bush and co.
