Distancing himself from Omar doesn’t seem to make sense, though, given his public support of her only five months ago and given that if he’s facing a tough GOP opponent in November then he’ll need his district’s lefties to turn out.
He needs no distance, not more distance. Smells to me like something else is going on, maybe something Peterson knows (or thinks) but that the public doesn’t.
Just heard Trump in Minnesota saying something about deporting Somalis for murder, ya know, and other terrible things. Wow. He is baiting hard. Wow.
The argument about sending them back is that they’ll bring covid to Somalia. That’s pretty weak.

“Let’s be clear — deporting people who have COVID-19 is pure cruelty — not just for the individuals themselves, but for the countless who could contract the illness. And we know that ICE has done this before.”
Omar first brought attention to the situation in a letter she sent last week to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that expressed “grave concerns” and asked a series of questions about the impending flight.

It’s a trending-Republican district. Peterson won it by four points , Trump by 31! He needs to appeal to voters who have voted for him for thirty years and have gotten into the habit. He has to run as a Blue-dog Democrat, which involves distancing himself from a left-leaner like Omar.

So why does Liban Mohamed, a “ballot broker,” boast about having 300 ballots in his car from the August primary, many of them blank and some opened? “Money is everything,” he laughs on the video. Activists describe how people receive cash when they hand their absentee ballot over so it can be filled out.
This one just might stick.
And an interesting note on people who speak languages other than English and think they can just say whatever. There are translators…
It is sad, but until a clear legal indictment is made against her, all these videos and years of other evidence (marriage, etc.) are all for naught.
I heard she married her brother to get him into the country illegally. Boy, that’ll be a bombshell when it comes out.

True, one is a rabid anti-Semite and one is a rabid crazy person who believes in Jewish space lasers. Or, one is embraced by her party and the other shunned by it.
That’s false.
Greene said the Rothchilds were causing the forest fires to benefit Jewish bankers. And there are Republicans who believe her. That’s far more dangerous than anything Omar said.
People these days make it less obvious by saying Soros instead of Rothchild’s and she didn’t even bother to do that.
She also endorsed a video blaming Jews for bringing immigrants into Europe.
