The sun is playing a little game of cat and mouse out there.

Aye, she’s being a wee slut

So it rained all of October from memory, barring a day or two here or there. November had what, maybe a week of patchy sunshine? And it has rained nearly every day of this month except about one and a half days. Is that accurate?

Unfortunately, yes. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

But look on the bright side…

…fuck, there is no bright side.

Hey, look, ma, it’s raining again!

I’ll take it. This is the closest I’ll ever get to winters back home anyway. (and short of leaving my SO, that ain’t gonna happen)

But despite all that rain, water level is at an all time low, because just for some weird reason the rain wants to avoid reservoirs.

A few times a year it even snows on YMS

And it can rain all of Jan and feb too

Just what we need. Big Siberian cold wave.

Remember: you can always foster pets to keep you warm.

What’s California then? I’ve only ever been to Texas.

The golden state.

Very cold even in the sunshine when it’s 3 degrees c
Not sitting out in the deck chair at the pool these days
We have nighttime temps of 3 C and daytime is better at about 15C

We have to scrape ice off our windshields in the morning these days
