Thank god for divided government.

Might be a time for those who screamed till they were blue in the face for a democrat House a democrat Senate and a democrat Presidency to ask, after 2 years, how did they do?

Are peoples lives better? Is the world a better and safer place?

I see China and Russia crumbling and the US thriving. I see our allies waking up to the common threat and getting their shit together. I see landmark bipartisan legislative achievements. What happened to all those voices saying we need to look to China for a better way to govern? Or they will out compete us with the belt and road initiative? That’s all falling apart now.

Oh am I personally better off? Yes I am, but I don’t put all of my vote on how I’m personally doing. Government doesn’t control every aspect of my personal wellbeing.

Divided government is great if there is bipartisanship, compromise. Hopefully with a slim majority and a divided GOP they will be forced to work with Democrats. This is a good thing.
