Regardless of where you stand on the republican-democrat divide, it’d be hard to disagree that the better candidate won here.

I can see how a Republican would vote for Walker no matter how terrible a candidate he is or how hypocritical it seems. For a senator all that matters is that they get their hand raised on the correct party line vote, no matter if they understand the issue.
