The US Midterm Elections: 2022

Right, projected to easily win, does easily win and therefore nothing to do with the current discussion about the midterm elections 2022.

At least in terms of how things might change.

Hmm, must be messaging.

Force birthers’ distress and meltdowns make me giddy lol.

Could be sadism.

I don’t know which is worse, the speech or the action

Not so much a mystery, I think. Trump raked in people who didn’t normally vote. They are the equivalent imo to the single issue dem voters. Instead of gay marriage and dead babies, Trumpers seem to want some esoteric victory. They wants Freedom!

Repubs will win Senate race in NV and the Georgia runoff 4weeks from now will determine Senate.

House will be Repub. Big winner—DeSantis

I don’t think any Democrats will be supporting Herschel Walker.

Haven’t seen much of him, just a few words over the past few days, got something to illustrate that?

Massive urban rural divide. I guess country hicks really are hicky.

You found anther massive group of people to generalize, find a degrading name for and look down your nose at.

lock them all up?

Inside a factory so they can put together @gain’s next iPhone. :slightly_smiling_face:

No way, who do you think they are, robots?

Cause only robots will put together the next iPhone, now that we want to cut the Chinese out of our supply chain.

OK, @gain’s country hicks can lubricate the robots and sweep the floors at the iPhone factory.

I’ve got a robot sweeping my floor… I’m pretty sure robots can lube themselves real good too.

Hey, let’s keep things PG here, OK?

Mexicans will most likely be assembling the iPhone

Mexico will have to make it so that the Taiwanese would want to go there first.

They already do

I’m speaking to a lot of Taiwanese involved in manufacturing. Biden Administration is giving or in the process of giving subsidies to manufacturers want to move to Mexico. The plan is to redraw the US domestic supply chain to include Mexico, with higher skilled manufacturing above the border and lower skilled below.

Many Taiwanese companies are looking to move to Mexico, but the infrastructure is not completely there yet and decoupling is hard and costly. Many Taiwanese companies are basically run by Chinese staff and they can’t bring them to NA

Recent conversations I have had. It’s kept quiet as probably wouldn’t be that politically popular (blue collar jobs going to Mexico and then the creation of a lot of white collar jobs in US)
