Not quite yet. Arizona governor still too close to call. I just saw 70% counted, couldn’t they get their issues sorted out down there yet?
Mostly though. We are that part of the movie where Steven Seagal has beaten the baddie to death, almost. Trump will reach for his gun, Seagal turns, and delivers the fatal death blow. A round house, knocking the orange head clean off its body.
You’ve seen this movie. Then he rises up again, hands outstretched, gurgling “AHHHHHHHHRGGGGGRGGR”. And again
“I think if they win, I should get all the credit, and if they lose I should not be blamed at all, ok”–Donald Trump
American news is syndicated. They all read from the same script, from California to New York.
The candidates Trump hand picked have been decimated, according to the BBC.
I hope they’re magically checking for.Chinese bamboo fibers and folds, cause won’t be a good count without it!

, I would hate to be the one to break it to you, or bring up publications like the Guardian.

Well, to be more accurate, according to the American politicos who the BBC have been interviewing over the last week or so. However, our news is indeed skewed by the partisan rhetoric spewing out of North America. ![]()
It might look more mixed in the end if Lake and Walker prevail. But, the frame is starting to look tarnished for sure. Given it was cheap gold-painted tin to begin with, with lots of holes showing, many people may not mind though?

That is what is filtering through to the UK. Trump is being rejected by his own party. They’ve had enough of him.
I think the party had enough already 6 years ago
But Trump has always defied these expectations because of his popular support. I wouldn’t count that out yet! Can a DeSantis say swing enough of it over to his side? I think he’s got a good shot. He may well look like the fun side in the end.
However, our news is indeed skewed by the partisan rhetoric spewing out of North America.
Indeed, there are not many outlets that look into what is going on with Trump supporters.

Who do you think the Trump supporters are targeting with their ire? They only hate the Democrats slightly more than the establishment Republicans. In fact many may respect a lot of the Democrats more than the establishment Republicans.

What’s mostly being told here is the mid terms are a fight for democracy vs the notion of a stolen election. And the stolen election crowd seem to be taking a killer beating.
I was very interested in the five social media voter profiles and how each is targeted by different media bias.

The BBC's Marianna Spring investigates what voters are being recommended online at a turbulent time for US politics.

I hadn’t heard this before. Food for thought indeed. Thanks for sharing, Mick.

You are welcome, I will link the post that comes with the graphic I included it’s well worth the read.
But for these types, it’s not just a left/right fight. The GOPe types know they are being targeted and this is not Mitch McConnells first rodeo in tying to sabotage these groups.
Which was understood to be a dynamic in this election, McConnell is less afraid of being in the minority than he is to see a rising Trump contingent so will not only withhold supporting funds for Trump endorsed candidates, he will try to sabotage them. All the GOPe will, they know they are the intended victim.

In December of 2009 the results of the most consequential special election of the decade were transmitted from a rebellious bunch of misfits who shook the political elite to Washington DC. Republican Scott Brown was elected to take the “Kennedy...

That’s what I’ve always liked most about Trump…his sense of humor.
I transcribed it from an interview just now. I don’t think he was joking!

Did you watch the video? Looked like he was joking to me. Of course, being ironic is dangerous for public figures.

I’m kind of in a hurry, so I can’t check for accuracy (I’m prepared to be corrected if wrong):
“Well, I think if they win, I should get all the credit,” Trump said. “If they lose, I should not be blamed at all, but it’ll probably be just the opposite.
“When they win, I think they’re going to do very well, I’ll probably be given very little credit, even though in many cases, I tell people to run, they ran and they turned out to be very good candidates. They’ve turned out to be very good candidates,” Trump said.
“But usually what would happen is, when they do well, I won’t be given any credit. And if they do badly, they will blame everything on me. So I’m prepared for anything, but we’ll defend ourselves.”
