The US needs Medicaid for all

I answered. Depends on the situation. Are you going to tell me how I make decisions is wrong because you don’t like it?

Blinders? I was making some naan bread yesterday. When rolling the dough, I remember something I long forgotten. When I was a small child, my mom made play dough from actual dough. That’s how poor we were, I didn’t have a bed to sleep in until I got much older. I forget and sometimes I don’t even realize how poor we were.

Guess where my father expanded his business to as an country boy who has no degree. The US. And he did very well but it came at a cost. 80+ hour weeks and spent no time with the family. He was a crap dad, but I always give him credit for being a provider. Maybe I should give him more credit for that since I’m only now realizing how crazy his work schedule was.

American dream is real. It’s there for those who are willing to sacrifice and work. No one said it would be easy.

Ah, the power of THE BRAND.

That’s what a healthy adverrtising-driven market economy does for you.

(Of course population cluelessness helps too, but that’s pretty much a given)

Most Americans aren’t clueless. They’re powerless to undo the damage the clueless ones in office are causing right now and frustrated.

Ya all those democrats in mayoral positions really shit the bed.

Why isn’t the federal government of the US giving enough ventilators to hospitals? Why won’t the GOP. nationalize production of masks? People are dying. They don’t care. They’re getting paid.

That is a cruel thing to say. Mass death with swaths of uninsured unable to get care in hospitals because they are poor and unemployment figures higher than any time in US history at any point. That is not on the mayors.

I’m confused here. Last year was spent trying to oust the leader of the U.S. because he was unfit for office then, when there is every indication of a tsunami coming, people listen to his guidance? Blame can be spread around on this issue.

I think you are directing your ire in the wrong direction. Point your blame at a government that has benefited from the Western consumer and when the time came to be a good global citizen, fucked those same people. When the dust settles pick apart your own leaders.

This is too general for me to understand. What do you mean by this?

Well its a fairly general phenomenon. “Western consumer” “fucked those same people”

Isn’t that supposed to be, like, what they are for?

The Taiwan health care system won’t work in the US.

Taiwan has merely 24 million people and everyone has to pay into the system. If you don’t pay, you’re not covered and have to pay 100% out of pocket.

The US has 330 million people and of those there are millions of lazy welfare people who don’t work and contribute nothing to society. Add in all of the illegals currently sponging off the system and it’s clear that the Bernie Sanders’ model “Free shit for everyone!” will not work.

Who pays for it? The people and big business who work so lazy people can take welfare and illegals can ride for free too? No thanks.

Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant

Here’s a current commie psycho that Seattle is battling for her repeated attempts to force big business to pay the bills for everyone’s “free” shit.

“You can fool all of the people some of the time” Seems to be more than enough.

Maybe not. I think perhaps that only works in America

It might have been overdone a tad this time.

Yes, because taxing a multi billion dollar corporation that pays its workers right around a “living wage” (and was applauded and praised for it, as though that’s anything to be proud of and not common decency) and only just this week decided to offer PTO is unfair.

Really? Their CEO is the wealthiest man on earth because he hasn’t paid taxes on any of the money he’s made. Meanwhile, you pay taxes and I pay taxes. Tell me it’s unfair commie socialist crap to require a business to pay 3% taxes when the average worker is paying 20% or more of what they make and 5% or more every time they buy something.

What is Amazon contributing to the area? High salaries for a select few and meh hourly wages for everyone else. Sky rocketing cost of living. “Oh but they create jobs!” Yes, jobs that don’t pay enough to afford a closet within 30 miles.

I am 100% on board with taxing Amazon. It would bring money to the US, unlike certain tariffs, and would only hurt a corporation that has gotten way too big for its breeches.

And I don’t understand why you needed to use “mail order bride”. She’s an elected official. There’s no place for name calling just because a woman has put in more work than you have.

I guess they want states to compete, increases price and people invested in the companies get more money.

Perhaps you could read this and then get back to us if you still have questions?

Oh wait, you’re American, so I suppose you already have, with the publicity an all.

Maybe do it again?

Try to get some new experimental drug paid by a health insurer, or maybe just a costly surgery.
