The porn channels on taiwan TV MOD Changhua don’t blur anything. No-blur hetero, gay, lesbian, trans, groups, toys, outdoor, in the car, picking up strangers, some less common activities… The older Japanese videos on the stations have a blur because they were produced as such.
I always wondered this. And I asked it in another forum, and someone said something that is somehow related to what just came to mind now.
The answer that I got was that premium content was more specific, targeted to specific audience, and probably more extreme. What I was thinking now is that it would be porn targeted at people who can’t get satisfaction with (normal) porn or even sex anymore.
Probably porn and sex addicts can’t get a hard on with regular porn. TBH I started to find it boring long ago too. So I guess the people who pay for it really want to get a hard on with porn again, and they pay for the better stuff in that hope.
Personally I wouldn’t pay for porn at all. Meh.

If you seriously believe that free online porn can’t be specific, targeted to specific audience and more extreme… sir, I envy your innocence.
The actor of the future works with next level green screening – not just the background but the whole thing is preprogrammed – but there is still demand for the “human touch” in the content creation process, because purely computer generated content doesn’t satisfy discerning (rich) customers. The face, the voice, everything is changed in real time according to the audience’s preference, but the best kind of actor still manages to shine through all that.
This is, of course, beyond the “uncanny valley” phase, so it’s still a while away.
And as I’ve said before, the book is actually pretty stupid (the author really doesn’t understand politics), but it does an excellent job of explaining technological concepts to the lay reader, including nanotech.
Oh and btw, the main character doesn’t do porn. I’m just saying that’s the direction entertainment is slowly but surely heading in, both mainstream and niche.
