Question for the OP though. Why Taiwan? Is this an untapped market? Or is there a dearth of a particular type of content you’d like to produce?
Seems random that someone would want to do it here and not just in Miami or LA with their talent pool. Unless it’s about cost but as others have pointed out, barriers to entry are fairly low.
Probably not many people surfing for “Taiwan porn”. But, some market, and who knows when the market will hit. Always money in porn anyway. One of the largest industries in the world.

not OP, but does it not seem obvious that why Taiwan is to get to a safe haven from the pandemic? And as he says he and his friend are producing they could be anywhere as long as there is internet.
I guess you could apply that to any internet business. I was just curious what is special about porn in Taiwan if anything. Asking for a friend…
I’ll be honest with you, but I don’t see much if any porn out of Taiwan.
I see a lot out of Japan, censored of course. Japanese porn is also really varied, from gay, straight, old vs young, and even really nasty stuff. So they have a really big industry for that. I also see a lot coming out of Thailand. But I see nothing coming out of any other Asian country except for the odd bit of amateur stuff.

But seriously, I don’t think this is the niche because a lot of people don’t know Taiwan and Taiwanese women don’t have an international reputation. Asian porn is big market. If OP wants to get country specific, he’d probably be better off labeling it as China, Japan (depending on the talent) or SE Asia (again depending on the talent). And then there’s WMAF, etc.
