Kaohsiung burger wars

Taipei has a dedicated burger thread, why not us? My current list is as follows: Arkansas Diner: I have burgered there twice, so far the best sandwich. Service is great, atmosphere not my style. Lighthouse: Good sandwich, my kinda place (except the understandable covid-barriers at the bar), service was good. I got onion-rings for a change and there were a paltry 6 on the plate. Foster Hewitt’s: Dry and tasteless burger benefitted from mayo and tobasco. I prefer the environment here …

Beer Belly brewery 250 for litre, great deal. 3 Brewing also good beer 200NTD for 500ml. Overall this year is a lot busier than last.

Yeah, of course I did! It was alright, a decent burger. Though NT$350 for a double cheeseburger (no sides) is a fair bit beyond where I start to feel annoyed at the price, even at an event like this (and that was the cheapest item).

That’s their festival menu, fries and slaw at the restaurant, maybe for less I can’t remember the price

Beer and food are pretty good at the festival, wish they would close the main stage down though, Taiwanese girl singer was making far too much noise. The stage should be for background only, it shouldn’t get in the way of having a good time.
