I think the opposite. In fact I recently did it and now that I see this I wonder if I had the wrong website or if I just missed this. But that’s fine, because I will do it again 48 hours before I arrive!
At least, that’s my understanding of the English, I never learned to count in Chinese past 3 so what do I know?

I read English and then check the Chinese when I’m confused to clarify things. It didn’t work this time!
That being said, since I’ve already done it more than 48 hours in advance I’m good either way, so if anyone knows for sure do speak up!
I completed the on-line form about 3 hours before departure (so well within 48 hours of arrival). Everything was fine when I landed at TPE. Confirmation text arrived as soon as I turned on my phone. My only problem was a boarding agent in the US airport (ATL) who could not understand the form.

Not really, I don’t want to give up too much personal information and there hasn’t been that much of interest to report anyways. Lots of waiting so far. Reading the forums has been super helpful for answering questions, I love the cameraderie on here!

Quarantine hotels in Taiwan state only one person per room is allowed.
CDC rules state a family travelling together can quarantine at home together so long as no one else is there (who didn’t travel with them) so long as each person has their own bedroom and bathroom.
Later on,the CDC rules discuss parents and children quarantining at home.
It is all rather unclear.
If a family of four (2 parents, 2 children) must quarantine, do they have to have four bedroom and four bathrooms to be allowed to quarantine at home?
If not, must they book four hotel rooms?
That’s US$8,000 right there, even though their home would be lying empty.
Can anybody confirm if there is any official guidance and how it works in practice?
