Tommy's story

she has not yet applied just have to sit down and go through all the motions. all the dates shes been out of the country in the last five years, etc etc.
shes qualified to apply we just too lazy to do it so far

thanks icon. i hate rings and i dont wear one, never will. And i dont want to buy her a rock just so i can spend money. :stuck_out_tongue:

Synthetic diamonds should be cheaper now Tommy

I think diamond are really only de Beers best friend
They are worth only a small percentage of their sale price and never will you recover your investment

I think the whole gem thing is out of hand
Just a gold band should do

They have brainwashed women into believing in the size of the rock

Good that synthetics are so good now they are becoming harder to tell from real

i don’t know who gravedug this thread but I want to say thanks so I could read this beautiful sentence. Also interesting to read Tammys origin story. funny to see familiar faces all the way back then

Just goes to show birds not of a feather can still flock together

Age gap makes it harder

Isn’t that better than taking the blue pills?

Age gap also comes with significant side effects though.

for example?

See: @tommy525

tommy’s new internet chat partner, no i haven’t learned a thing.

don’t worry shes probably AI (new type of chatbot)

She looks like a shitcoin in human form.

heyhey at least shesa good conversationist ! just wants me to invest in bitcoin, i did, i bought ONE DOLLAR. Big investment

A lot of it revolves around class and ideology, not just age difference.

My wife is a great mother–we’ve raised successful kids with medical and engineering backgrounds. I remember when we first visited Canuckistan, my wife tied my shoe when it became untied. A family member said “We don’t do that in Canada!”. My point is that the West, with its net-zero Cultural Marxism, frowns upon more traditional thinking. Women who come from other cultures, backgrounds etc. will either stay traditional or adopt the Simone De Beauvoir shit.

So maybe Tammy was traditional, but she adopted to US ways of thinking. Not necessarily a good thing, but probably more responsible for the breakup than age difference?

yes i dont blame her really. she went through a lot. Its not easy being missus tommy525 really. My first wife blamed me for taking her from a young girl into a neurotic mess as she called it , this one couldn’t stand the strain either.

happened once, its probably her, happened twice its probably me.

next one would have to be “maniacally attached to me” to make it work i guess

when i have time i may delve into more reasons why tammy detached from tommy. its not a short story  more like a novel.

scary thought aint it?

Yeah, but she also should have realized that you took her from a very different standard of living and gave her a lot of opportunity. A more traditional person would realise that is a huge debt owed. That doesn’t mean she necessarily needs to stay with you, but there is also some karma associated with the good you did. I hope she doesn’t, in future endeavors, take you to the cleaners, as others have mentioned she could! That would be forgetting how you changed in her life, at least materially and socio-economically, in a very positive way.

she knows, shes told me of the debt she owes me and we remain “family” just not husband/wife. That phase is over.

she thanked me and remains forever grateful for taking her from a young girl to a young woman, all that i did for her.
and will be there for me she said.

so i guess thats a pretty good arrangement , all that can be hoped for in the circumstances.
