I rode in the new Prius in Korea last month wow I was surprised, nice interior and performance seemed decent. I thought it was a new Tesla at first.
I have also been a passenger in many new electric Chinese taxis, they are going to take over.

shes working , shes paying 90pct of her living expenses, i contribute the car payments, the insurance for the car and some groceries and what not during the month which adds up to a substantial amount.
but until she is divorced from me i am obligated to help support her. fair enough. im not complaining. I took care of her for over 14 years even before we got married. im just saying i got snookered over the car, i suspect the affair was going on before the car was bought. So that is something i think of as a mistake.
supporting someone who is married to you? Well thats called obligation. Buying her a TT to replace her paid off toyota , thats called a mistake .
but id not like to drag on and on about the going ons between tammy and tommy if you dont mind. I know its like a live K drama, but hey. nuff said on that, its an ongoing train wreck. Let’s wait a year or two after the NTSB report comes out ok?

I will report from the “battle front” if there is anything to report that is. so far all we got is a bunch pics and vids that are possibly deeP fake, but we do have actual Long Island RailRoad pricing so we have THAT ! sUPPOSEDLY shes going to visit her native Singapore in a few months and will stop by and visit . So lets see if that happens and if it does? A lot will be revealed.

ya the styling is so cool. Prius people are saying “you mean they could have made the Prius THIS good looking all along??”
However, weirdly i did not find it double the performance of my 100hp (and its supposed to be close to 200hp). So i wasnt carried away by its performance. and the driver seat was kinda hard to get into due to the sharp rake of the windshield.
Its a pretty car but at this point i wouldnt trade my prius in for it. Due to my car working just fine and is paid off and i got other things to consume me money wise currently. But if i was flush with cash i may do it, still i was not overly swayed by it, other than its great looks.
honestly i think id rather have a VW GTi, a 4 door vehicle with the engine and transmission and chassis of an Audi TT plus more modern features , a nice engine note and nice drivers seat and adaptive cruise and lane keeping and memory seat available (all three lacking on the TT). Plus the 4 door usability . For get this 15k less money too and still decked out in leather seats, etc. Shoulda gotten this in stead of the TT and saved 15k and essentially have the same performance (minus the all wheel drive, which we only used once going to tahoe in the snow). and have a much cheaper monthly note too.
15k less means bout 300/month less in payment roughly, which will be more swallowable.
It’s not fun watching someone make the same bad life choices and suffering because of it.
im not suffering . its still an adventure, discovery. LIke going into a mine shaft and looking around…no life choices hve been made. nobody has been fooked literally or symbolically as yet.
i think i have mentioned it? the car isin my name the note (debt) is in my name. Which means in california a joint property state she is entitled equally to the vehicle, but should i default on the loan i am the one with the ruined credit not her.
shoulda put her on it. shoulda not gotten it in the first place, shoulda gotten the gti, or at least shoulda gotten a lease which after 3 years now would be over. Instead i got another 3 years to pay it off.
its ok mistake was made, it will eventually pan out.

and the GTi is so much fun to drive (of course the R is better but the R is also near TT money . So not a bargain. Altough it is faster having the engine from the TTS .
I find myself thinking of getting another test drive, which means i like the GTi, i may get one but the problem is this is the very last year of the GTi !! SAdly its being discontinued and im not ready for a new car.

you are focused on the one thing, the car. YOu have lost sight of the big picture which is the entire battle.
she can demand not only the car but also much more from me if this went to court. I am getting on her good side by hoping things can settle amicably. I know how to get ahold of the car and sell it, that part is easy. dealing with the fall out from this will be WW3. cant just look at the one item, have to look at the big picture.
just wait till you get hitched and see what a mess this whole thing can be.

think of it as a purse snatching. say you are a lady with your purse a thief tries to snatch your purse, you hang on to it and the theif shoots you dead AND still takes your purse.
This exact thing happened to a friends wife in rio de janeiro. OUtside her hotel, she hung on to her purse and subsequently lost her life AND her purse.
the TT is just the purse, i can lose much more. forget the purse , save a life (mine).
